This to me was the real beginning of 3D MK. 4 was more 2D with 3D graphics. This game, kind of sucked lol. They were learning how to do 3D and many mechanics were annoying such as stabbing weapons bleeding you quickly. Scorpion was my main in this game.Updated 1.5 Years Ago

The stances are cool, but the gameplay is overall very boring. The graphics also haven't aged all that well. The stages look pretty cool and the music is alright, but overall not a very enjoyable game.Updated 4 Years Ago

I would assume that the other time posted for this for Main Plus didn't include the Konquest Mode, or the Krypt. To really unlock everything is a chore I have yet to finish, yet in 32 hours of play to date I have unlocked about 90% of the crypt, beaten the Konquest mode, and beat the ladder event with all the characters. I loved the ability to string together combos with the three different styles of fighting, it made this game one of my favorite in the MK series.Updated 11 Years Ago

The Gameboy Advance version of this game seems a bit lacking with many characters missing. Found a cheap combo with Sonya and plowed through enemies.Updated 11.5 Years Ago

We are a happy office. For the first time in all of IGN's history, we can sit together in unison and say in agreement that we enjoyed the latest Mortal Kombat game. Not without its problems, particularly in terms of the unforgiving CPU aggression, Deadly Alliance is still among the best fighting games of 2002. A late night favorite for the last couple of weeks and for a few months more, Deadly Alliance is a remarkable achievement in the history of a series we wrote off long ago. Congratulations all around, and congratulations to anyone lucky enough to pick this one up!Updated 21.5 Years Ago
