I haven't tried all the features of the Playstation store yet, and was wondering if anyone has tried the downloadable Demos. I notice there are playable Demos and Full Game Time Trials. I was wondering how they work. Are the files huge and better to leave alone if you have a slow connection? With the Time Trials do you download the entire game? I would hope not some of those games are huge. What is the length of a normal time trial? 1 day, 1 week, 5 hours? I have noticed quite a few games I would really like to demo before downloading, but am sort of afraid of starting one and having to wait 9 hours for it to download. Thanks for the help.

Demos on PSN store are either short, incomplete versions of the games (usually the case for AAA games), or crippled full versions that can be unlocked by buying an unlock file (usually the case for small/indie/budget games).
Timed Trials are a newer feature that allow you to download the full version of a AAA game and that let you play an hour of the game for free. After that you have to pay the full price to play the rest - I think you activate through an in-game purchase or a link to the PSN store. As far as I am aware you don't have to play the hour in one sitting, but it is a full-size download - 15-20Gb in some cases, but usually between 5 & 10Gb in most.
If you have bandwidth limits or slow speed on your broadband, I would avoid the Timed Trials, unless you think you really want the game - however the Timed Trials tend to be older games that you can pick up the disk version for a lot cheaper online or pre-owned at a game store.
