My favourite game of all time. Versatile, modifiable, creative, a great vehicile for lots of stories and aventures. Minecraft is the gift that keeps on giving. With the option to play old and new versions of the game, alone, with friends, in minigames, modded or vanilla, and continuous updates, I just keep being interested!Updated 13 Hours Ago

Probably one of the best games in the genre of "Survival" with a giant open world. Constant improvements, mods and new mechanics make this game much better than it was at the startUpdated 6 Days Ago

In my personal opinion, this is the greatest game ever made. I have a deep history with it that I'm going to ramble/spillI've been playing since Minecraft Classic, back when Alpha was being developed. Back then, I was a moderator on a server called Ourmine. Classic was great, but when Survival dropped, it just blew my freakin' mind. My creativity was fully unlocked and I couldn't comprehend the freedom I had to create anything and everything. I genuinely loved the building aspect of Minecraft Classic, but Survival made it 10x better and more rewarding. A good looking building in Creative is cool, but a good looking building in Survival is peak. Fast forward to Beta 1.0 - 1.7, I was no-lifing this game. Beta 1.7 is still the best update this game has ever had. 1.7 world generation was amazing. It was the perfect blend of gamified realism and made it an interesting world to both look at and explore equally. That summer I was like 14, I'd wake up early every day, logon, and play all day long. I eventually left Ourmine after years of being a mod, they expanded to a few servers and it got tiresome flip flopping between them all. I started playing Faction Wars with one of the other mods who also left. That lasted a year or two, life started picking up, and I grew apart from my online MC buddies, but those are memories I'll never forget. The chokehold Minecraft had on the internet from 2010 - 2015 was unprecedented, and I am so happy I was able to live it.
I still play Minecraft from time to time. I've done damn near everything you could do in the game. I was there for every legendary moment the game had (MineZ, Hunger Games, etc.), and I truly believe we haven't seen the end of those times. Minecraft is forever!

I have played this game for nearly 13 years. I've created hundreds of world, been part of hundreds of multiplayer servers, dived deep into the world of modded Minecraft, made and lost many friendly bonds through the game, watched myself and the people around me grow up and get introduced to this game. This may be the greatest game ever created- I mean that genuinely. Here's to many more hours, I can't put over 10000 on here btw but actual hrs played is closer to 12,000.Updated 2.5 Weeks Ago

I don't enjoy survival builders. I tried this with friends, I had them teach me how to build a house. I built a house..now i'm like..now what. Nothing is very intuitive. I know the goal is to defeat a certain boss, but I have no desire to put in the grind to do so. It was very boring. Not for me.Updated 1 Month Ago

Obviously I have no idea how many hours I have in Minecraft. I've owned the PC version for over 10 years at this point and played it with cousins on their Xbox 360 right after it's release, and continue to do so whenever I visit them. Easily the game I have played the most and has had the most impact on me. Awesome game, favorite of all time, etc. It's Minecraft.Updated 2.5 Months Ago

Especially considering how insane the modding community is, Minecraft is truly the definitive limitless sandbox game. (Java and Legacy Console Editions get 10/10, Bedrock Edition gets like 8/10 at best lol)Updated 3 Months Ago

Minecraft was introduced to me as a child still developing basic thinking skills and still lives up to its magic today. There is nothing impossible in this game whether it be killing dragons, zombies riding chickens, to modding a fake girlfriend because you smell bad. Whether you are playing alone as an escape to your real aching life or messing with friends, there is nothing to hate about Minecraft. I wish there was another game to bring me the feelings, nostalgia, and zen this has but then again thats what makes it special.Updated 3.5 Months Ago

Can't go wrong with minecraft honestly. Solid game with solid music. Singleplayer or co-op, minecraft is still enjoyable. I personally have gotten out of it. I don't find it as replayable as before. There is a lot of community content though.Updated 4 Months Ago

The PS3 version is probably the best aside from Java. Online multiplayer is STILL supported, which is shocking, and technically means this is the only way to play old Minecraft online without a crazy complicated setup on Java. There are some cons though:* No commands
* Limited world size, but it is cool to have a sense of completion exploring the whole thing
* Like all versions other than Java, texture packs are paid
* Many more features from Java are removed
There are pros to this version over Java however as well:
* Online multiplayer without and insane setup
* Exit without saving
* Split screen multiplayer
If you want to play old Minecraft online, this is absolutely the way to go.

It's Minecraft. Minecraft's fun, but it loses its luster quick over time since there isn't as many things to do as you'd hope because the reality of how shallow the game is rears its head, along with how lazy Mojang's devs are.Score: 82
