Aqui a sensação muda. Updated 1.5 Weeks Ago

This is the best Pokémon game ever released. It expands on my favorite story from the franchise, and I may be biased, but I found Gen V to have the best Pokémons. The visuals are peak; the 2.5D style really fits the universe and is super visually stimulating. If you emulate it, it looks amazing with an HD texture pack. The difficulty is okay, considering this is a Pokémon game. Anyways, love it. The vibe is great.Updated 3.5 Weeks Ago

Pokemon Black 2 is one of the best examples of a Pokemon game to show how great the system is and what can be accomplished in story telling and gameplay. The game is fun start to finish with a few annoying yet still fun parts. My only major gripe with the game is the level curve is quite high and does require a bit of grinding at points. It also has a habit of not being super clear where you need to go next leading to some time wasting in that regard. A great game for all ages that can still be enjoyed today.Updated 1 Month Ago

Amazing innovative entry in the series which I consider the best Pokémon game to date. This sequel managed to improve on the foundation from Black/White in many ways. Traversing Unova again didn't feel repetitive due to: the new non-linear path, a fresh roster including non-Unova Pokémon in the main story, and lots of added locations & content. Although the plot was a bit lackluster when compared to B/W, the world still felt very lively. Exploration is rewarded, the dialog is entertaining, and the post-game is massive. B2/W2's level curve is well balanced, and thanks to their exclusive implementation of difficulty modes, can provide a good challenge. Overall, the gameplay was super enjoyable throughout, and it set a golden standard for the series which hasn't been matched since.Updated 2 Months Ago

This game is what a lot people are coming to notice: It is the best pokemon in the series. The content is absurd, the art style, PWT an incredible idea, the battle animation, the more serious story and mainly the soundtrack are top-notch. The music in special is marvelous, with all the composers doing their best. The idea of a sequence instead of a third version worked very well here.Updated 3.5 Months Ago

This game takes place a couple of years after the first games. It's a bit of a different Unova. Cherren is the new Gym leader at the closest town, there are new areas to explore, and new (familiar) Pokemon to take with you on your journey. Don't get me wrong, a majority of it is the same, but the subtle changes and references to a couple years back do their job. Went with Emboar this time around. Not a big Emboar guy but who really is? I love Serperior and Samurott though. Anyway, more of those amazing 2d animated sprites. The best Pokemon has ever looked in my opinion. It's fast, fun and sounds great, another banger of a soundtrack. The story is pretty forgettable, infact it's a lot like Gold and Silver. It feels different but familiar. The problem is it's expensive so if you ask me is it worth its current price? I think the original games are. These ones, ehhh not so much, Still great games, just if you are going to spend a couple hundred dollars on Pokemon games from the DS era, there are better options.Updated 4 Months Ago

I dunno if people will think this is a hot take or not, but I'll say it upfront: Not only are these my favorite Pokemon games, I genuinely think they're the best games in the series to date.Black and White 2 are nearly flawless Pokemon games. Is the story as good as Black and White 1? No, but it's still pretty good and ties a bow on BW1's plot extremely well. The Pokemon diversity in this game is excellent, and makes it extremely replayable, correcting one of the issues BW1 had. This is the only Pokemon game with actual difficulty options (it has to be unlocked, but, still, great!). And it's not an easy game either by Pokemon standards. I won't call it hard, but you can wipe if you're not prepped or over-leveled for quite a few fights in this game. There's an in-game achievement system, there's Gym rematches, there's returning legendaries, there's everything a Pokemon game should have - yet this game doesn't get the credit it deserves and that baffles me to no end.
There's a ton of fan service in the post-game too with the Pokemon World Tournament. If you know you know.
My only big critique is how the story stops you and forces you to do PokeStar Studios side content. Can JRPGs stop forcing weird minigames on us please? Thanks.
TL;DR - I love BW2 and not only are they my favorite set of Pokemon games, I think they're the best and most underrated set as well. Fantastic games.

Black Version 2 has the best Pokemon selection that I've seen in a game. It has a lot to choose from, even in the early routes. The rival-style character is also one of my favorites in the series. The biggest drawback to the game is the tutorial-like sections in the first half. You get a main tutorial, a PokeStar Studios tutorial, a Pokemon World Tournament tutorial, and none of them are skippable. I found myself quickly getting tired of walking out of a building, and suddenly having an NPC pull me away from my main quest. Overall, though it's a very good Pokemon game.Updated 6.5 Months Ago

I was so ecstatic to play this game, bc I got the early purchase Genesect mystery gift. I still have it in my Pokémon Home account to this day. It couldn't be controlled for the first gym bc I didn't have any badges, but I fondly remember getting the different drives to change Techno Blast's type depending on the next Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member. Most of my hours were used to grind my favorites to Lvl 100 (most of which were legendaries, most of whom were Kyurems).Updated 7.5 Months Ago

Shoutout to my niggas: Serperior Lv.58, Golduck Lv.55, Ampharos Lv.54, Muk Lv.53, Volcarona Lv.56 e Gigalith Lv.55.

PT/EN Blind Playtrough Party: Serperior, Lucario, Krokodile, Emolga, Audino > Lapras, Chandelure, Late game substituiton Serperior > Hydreigon.
EN
Another Pokémon finished, this generation is by far my favorite, and that's because the two screens of the Nintendo DS are incredible for playing and I consider the Unova's Pokédex excellent. It's worth noting that I don't have a bias for nostalgia.
The game's soundtrack manages to be the best in the series with MANY memorable songs that vary with the season. The overall progression is very well done except for the early game (the Poison gym is a corner dive bar, seriously), but the late game offers many areas to explore before facing the Elite 4.
As usual, I'll complain about HMs. Removing one move from my Pokémon, at least in this game, is more acceptable because using HMs only gets you a few items and they aren't necessary to progress through the story, but my frustration persists.
Finally, the game has such great post-game content that it's keeping me playing. I'll do the Battle Train and the PWT until I get tired, and after that, maybe I'll give HeartGold a chance since the Nintendo DS generation games are really good. I still don't understand where the hate for this generation comes from; I disagree with it, so go ahead and play it – it's definitely worth it.

Played White 2 version. Looking back on these games, they were something special. The DS was pushed to its limits. The 3D overworld mixed with really stylish sprites gave the Unova region a unique look, accompanied by a solid soundtrack with many catchy tunes (I particularly love “Unwavering heart”).This is a sequel through and through, showing us what happened in the region 2 years after the previous games. Some characters have grown, some bad guys have seen the errors in their ways while others did not.
While I really liked the “soft reboot” feel of the originals, where you would only see new Pokemon during the main story, it was cool to be able to create a diverse team with mons from previous generations from the get go.
I also appreciate that the way to becoming champion is at least a bit challenging. Although it only took me one try to get through the elite four and the champ, I was pushed against the ropes more than once.
The devs put great care into the story. While it’s still a kids game at its core, it’s not afraid to get a bit dark when it needs to.
Team Plasma are probably the best villains in the series. They have lost their moral high ground now and they are just going to get their way by force.
There is just so much to do. Pokestar studios introduced some “puzzle” mechanics into battles. You get to manage the Join Avenue market and get some good stuff out of making it grow. Pokémon World Tournament and the Battle Subway are there for those who seek a greater challenge. Entralink missions allow for some mindless multiplayer fun outside of battling. There’s even an achievement system in the form of medals, with some presenting a real challenge too. Musicals… I don’t really enjoy those.
I have yet to get into the postgame which seems big, since there’s a whole part of the map I haven’t been able to access yet.
In my opinion, they just don’t make them like this anymore. Even though I enjoy the modern games, they don’t feel as carefully crafted nowadays and I wish Game Freak could take their time to once again rise to the greatness they accomplished here.

Being a massive fan of Pokémon and having already played through almost everything there is to play in this franchise, I can safely say that Black 2 and White 2 were the absolute peak of gaming. Everything in here is brilliant and will definitely be appreciated for years to come, even when generation 74 comes around. The story and character development are only second to Sun and Moon, but not by much. There's such a level of detail in the changes made to the characters and the environment (given that this is a direct sequel) it almost makes you want to cry. And if you actually want to cry, look no further than the amazing soundtrack!
The game is packed with things to do, places to explore, people to talk to and Pokémon to catch. Post game content is ridiculous, and even though I've tried, I've never managed to actually get to all of it. It's challenging, it's fun, it's classic Pokémon. Your ultimate Unova experience (and perhaps even Pokémon experience overall) is right here.
Also, Bianca and Cheren are absolutely precious and I will protect them at all costs.

Despite my (unexpectedly) massive time spent in the game, I would still hesitate to call it "good". It was the first Pokemon game I've played in 10 years so it definitely scratched an itch, as there are no games quite like Pokemon. However, there was a lot about it that I thought paled in comparison with previous titles (especially 3rd gen). Though I will say my opinion of White 2 improved throughout my playthrough. I think there are great QoL features and things like Join Avenue or the Funfest missions that were a little grindy but neat ideas. And within a single copy of White 2 you can get a LOT of Pokemon without trading with others. Having not played the original B/W, I thought the story was a bit messy and more childish than usual. Also the graphics are really bad. Instead of going for some great, high quality 2D artwork, they decided to do this blocky, low-res psuedo 3D look and it's horrible. No idea why your own Pokemon sprites are so JPEG-y and hideous in battle. Also really sucks that you can't access wi-fi features anymore (and that they were shut down relatively soon after the games came out, within 2 years!) I hate Nintendo's lack of support for older titles and general game preservation.
Anyway, White 2 being my first Pokemon game in ages, I still had decent fun and was definitely addicted at points. Nothing like finally catching a Pokemon you've been hunting for a while, or coming out of a battle completely untouched.

The first (and last) direct sequel since the Gen 2 games, this game fixes every single flaw that BW1 had (no more boringly linear circular world design, no more extremely convoluted ways to unlock event Pokemon and items, no more bland, empty, and lengthy postgame, and a much better roster of Pokemon to choose from), and slaps some extra QoL features on top of it (did you know this is the first Pokemon game that allows you to press up from Run to return to Fight, instead of having to go left or right, and then up?)This is just peak Pokemon, it only goes downhill from there

Every compliment extended towards Pokémon Black applies here, but this game does so much more for that game to the point that it really isn't equivalent to the third-iteration titles of prior Pokémon games. It adds so much to the game's post story that it became legitimately difficult to put down once I completed most of what I "wanted" to do. It was just so engaging and fun. There are new things to do everyday. It is the amalgamation of everything Game Freak learned from their prior games on the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS. The side-content of this game exceeds those of Pokémon HeartGold / SoulSilver, the prior standards for many fans.Updated 2 Years Ago
