Nesse game a história foi muito melhor desenvolvida em relação aos anteriores, trazendo outros personagens na trama com diversos diálogos, e um melhor desenvolvimento do enredo.
Não espere nada muito elaborado ou reviravoltas marcantes, mas nota-se facilmente que a empresa investiu bem mais nesse ponto, tornando o jogo bem mais agradável.

Gameplay
A mecânica do game continua simples e bem intuitiva, só que dessa vez, trazendo puzzles bem mais criativos, diversos e menos linear do que nos outros jogos.
De todos que joguei, esse sem duvida foi o que os quebra-cabeças mais me agradaram, sendo a comunicação entre os jogadores essencial para sua resolução.

Gráficos/Arte
Os gráficos aqui foram amplamente melhorados, em todos os aspectos, tendo uma direção de arte e diversidade de cenários muito melhor também.
A trilha sonora aqui é mais presente, e consegue transmitir bem mais emoções em determinados momentos do enredo.

Conclusão
We Were Here Forever conseguiu evoluir o jogo anterior em todos os aspectos, trazendo um enredo mais elaborado, puzzles mais criativos e um gráfico bem mais realista e agradável. Um game obrigatório para quem curtiu os outros títulos.

This is definitely the best game in the We Were Here series so far! As with the previous games, it's been so much fun to see how Total Mayhem has improved their skills and honed their craft over the course of the series. We Were Here Forever definitely was the most robust gaming experience, with an aesthetically pleasing, cartoony graphical style, pleasant music, and a decent story. The puzzles, the focus of the game, were across the board fun without being overly challenging or feeling cheap. Overall, my wife and I had a great time playing this game, and it's a bit bittersweet that we're done and only have one more entry in the series.

I hope this game runs better on Steam then it does on consoles. We had all kinds of issues when playing this game. Handful of connection issues, room issues and then multiple times having settings and controls reset or just straight up changed. The final stretch we play to finish the game we couldn't do anything whatsoever and then found out all the controls had be erased besides L2, which was look down. Aside from that it was fairly enjoyable. There were a few puzzles that were too convoluted but not too big of an issue.

A good coop game, lot of interesting puzzles, with a lot of intriguing mechanics, some harder than other. Good music and graphic. Pretty good story, mainly narrated in cut scenes. Only downside is that some puzzles could feel too long and hard, not making you feel interested enough or likely to continue, but this is only for a few of an entire game. If you like coop and puzzles, then go for it.

This game was the best of the 'We Were Here' series by far. The variety and diversity of the puzzles included are really solid, and the portal puzzles are some of the best in the entire series. Of all the puzzles in the game, there was only one we were really stuck on for a while (which was a 'describe the sound' puzzle). The story also was very interesting to learn another side of things. The puzzles did get a bit stagnant near the end of the game and the story was interesting, and I'm excited to see how the story continues in any potential follow-ups.

Gaz and I have known each other for decades and have played a lot of puzzlers together over the years, but we both agreed that We Were Here Forever stood out as one of our most enjoyable experiences. The creepy fantasy theme is delivered in a great visual style and hammered home by some phenomenal voice acting, and each cut-scene dragged us deeper into the lore and kept us invested in what we were doing. The puzzles are well designed (for the most part) and require enough thought to be challenging without causing frustration that disconnects you from the game. Yes, some voice chat problems and a couple of broken puzzles did cause annoyance, but that wasn’t enough to turn us off from a fantastic experience - We Were Here Forever is an absolute must for puzzle and escape room fans alike.

Even if it is not the most sophisticated story, it is a perfect fit for this game series, never betraying the atmosphere of the game and the previous ones.

Clearly a proof of labor of love by the game makers, for the players. Thank you!

The world needs more games like We Were Here Forever. The cooperative-only puzzle landscape is largely untapped and full of potential, and We Were Here Forever is one of the best examples of why. Its puzzles rank up there with some of the cleverest and most satisfying I’ve seen in a video game, and its decently lengthy 10 to 12-hour campaign ensures that by the time it reaches its memorable conclusion the requirement that each person buy their own copy doesn’t feel like too much to ask. The way it requires clear communication between partners at all times means it doesn’t lend itself well to online matchmaking, so I highly recommend bringing a puzzle-loving friend along for the ride. On that note, it would’ve been an even more irresistible deal if it came with a friend pass, but all things considered, We Were Here Forever is a monumental leap forward for a series that has been quietly but consistently creating some of the best co-op experiences around.
