What character (new or already existing) are you most excited about in SSBU?

Since almost every existing character is being modified in one way or another, and there are quite a few returning and new characters, who are you most excited for and why?

For me Squirtle looks really fun to use, and I like that Pokemon Trainer is no longer penalized for using the same Pokemon for extended periods of time.

I'm just excited to start up with the original set of characters from the n64. I'm really curious to play as BotW Link, and to see how his new moveset changes the way I play. I'm also pretty excited to play as Shulk again, since it seems he's faster to do anything than his Wii U version.

Incineroar: He's a big boi. He's a big boi with wrestling moves. He's a big boi with wrestling moves that automatically taunts after landing a move, and gets mad when he misses

Its hard to pick one since I'm excited to try out a lot of the returning and new characters, although I'm probably most interested in trying out Young Link and seeing how he compares and differentiates from Toon Link, who is one of my two mains.

Edit: Also I'm excited to try out Pichu. If he's anything like Melee then he's going to be really bad and I think its fun to play as these kinds of characters and try to get good with them, as winning as them feels like even more of an achievement.

Edit 2: Also I'm glad the Ice Climbers are back, I had lots of fun playing them in Brawl. Also I was quite glad when I saw everyone was back, as I was worried my other main, Lucina, wouldn't make the cut.

Isabelle may be my Main if the moves she has are great. If not I'll go back to Kirby or Mario (If he doesn't have Fludd as Down-B). Kirby has been my main in Brawl and Smash 4 but this might change if I find one character I'm really good at. Also nice to see Piranha Plant join as a fun haha joke. Also very excited that Ice Climbers are back and it's cool to see the Simon from Castlevania in the mix as well.

That is so out of left-field and I hate that I don't have a switch rn but I love that this is a thing.

I´m buying Smash once Joker is available. I never had any interest in the game before, but maybe this will convert me. Well played, Nintendo, well played indeed.

Looks like Joker is being released tomorrow (or today, depending on your time zone or when you're reading this). I admittedly don't know much about the Persona series but it looks like he might be fun character to play from what I've seen.
