Playing this on Vita, and I've just finished the second world (of six). A few initial thoughts:
-The Murfy levels are not very fun...
-...Especially compared to the main levels, which are on par with Origins'
-Rayman still controls like a dream
-The art is lit
-Its short-ish levels and compact overworld make this game perfectly suited to handheld play
So far I am impressed - it doesn't seem as good as Origins to me at this point, but it's still great.

The Murfy levels are probably better on the WiiU were they were meant to be played, but I can't say anything, because I've never played the game.
Waiting for my copy to come in two days.

If you play the Murfy levels on Wii U with a co-op partner as intended, they're a lot of fun. But single-player or without the Gamepad makes everything slow and dull.
I've already 100%-ed this game twice, so I'll skip this month. It's not quite as good as Rayman Origins, but it's still one of the best core 2D platformers in recent memory. Hope y'all enjoy it.

Again another game I've already completed. I remember enjoying this game but I agree with KerfMerf it's not as good as origins still the music levels are some of the best designed platform levels I've played and are well worth the price of admission. Still i wish they had A harder level at the end like origins as it felt so satisfying to beat the level.

This was the game I bought my Wii U for (because I was pretty sure it would be exclusive for it). As a 2d platformer aficionado I think it is one of the best platformers out there. I played this with 4 other friends and we completed it in just a couple of days because we were having so much fun with it. 10/10

I always consider Legends to be half the game Origins is, literally, they put in like half the Origins levels and without them Legends is about half the length. As a result Legends feels more like an expansion for Origins that managed to get sold as a full release. I'm aware it had development trouble though nearing its release date and considering how bad it could have been I really appreciate how it turned out.
I actually have a Rayman series playthrough coming up, not sure if I'll replay these but if I reach it this month I probably will. Either way I'll be reading the thread to see how everyone is getting along with it :D

I'm 2/3 done with the game, but I think I can form a good opinion of the game. It's good, but you can tell that it was made for the WiiU. I compared what I had played on the 360 version with someone's playthrough on the WiiU. For one, the menu that has to be opened with a button press is always open on the game pad, so it's faster to pick the lucky scratches, hub, and hall of heroes. Second, the Murfy levels (while not being unplayable) seem to be more fun since you can control what he does on the game pad compared to just pressing a button and he does a preprogrammed action.
It still makes a good 360 game. The levels are well made, the bosses are nice looking, and the music levels at the end of each level is really cool (despite that they put in the song Woo-Hoo, which everyone I've met has said is an annoying song).

So I've completed everything but the 'Back to Origins' levels. The game as a whole is great! The Murfy levels suffer from hit-and-miss level design, and a wonky AI partner, but the rest of the levels are really fun and well made. The musical levels, as some of you have already mentioned, are a real highlight.
It's just a shame that this came after Rayman Origins; it is objectively a better, fuller, and more cohesive game. As good as Legends is, it just doesn't match up to the game that came before it.

Super short opinion: Game is quite fun and easy to play, colorful and good looking, but besides "fun" there is nothing more to it so it isn't great. Sorry, that's how I look at games.
I think this one is meant to be played in co-op cause otherwise it feels like waste of time at least for me. If You like platforming and You look only for gameplay then it should be good game for You.
