It's a solid title with an incredibly high skill ceiling and runs amazing on the Switch. I set myself up for disappointment though. The first person traversal in Dead Island gave me a headache because of the head bob. When you take that and pair it with the high speed parkour of Dying Light led to a thoroughly unenjoyable experience for me. I totally get why people like it though, but it so not for me.Updated 7.5 Months Ago

Rating this game based purely on the quality of the port. It's impressive just how well the devs got this running on Switch. While the 30 FPS this port aims for shouldn't be compared to it's PC counterpart, it's definitely nothing to scoff at. The game mostly achieves what it's going for, with a few small dips that don't really hinder the experience. The gameplay thankfully is just as fun as ever, and it translates really well to Switch.
If you don't have any other means to play this, definitely give this a go! Dying Light: Platinum Edition is still a great game by today's standards, and you're definitely going to get your moneys worth with this port.

Really solid game. Fluid movement and combat, fun unlockable abilities, great story. Absolutely recommended.Don't play if you're scared of heights.
