The deer God has some elements that are done very well like it's artstyle and graphics, but the readability of it's artstyle is lacking, and the gameplay loop can be confusing, would not recommend unless your looking for a mediocre game. It's relaxing at points but then becomes frustrating at other points.

Decent looking, visually, with a nice style to it, but it has too many repeating environments, too little going on in terms of game mechanics, and has a bit of a low-budget feel... couldn't finish it.

Annoyed by the lack of information at the start so I walked to the right until the eventual end of the game. Average platforming, average story, less than stellar boss fights.

This game was not great. Technically, it ran fine, and the art style was good. Kind of looked like a "Superbrothers Sword & Sorcery" style. Music was realllly good. But that is about where it ends. Gameplay was some real basic platforming with little to no explanation of what the hell you were doing. The overall "goal" is to find 5 or 6 'relics' that you earn by completing quests, fill up the totem pole, and boom your good. But none of this is explained and if you miss certain things you just keep heading right and the environment loops again, and again, and again. The environment seems procedurly generated? But I am unsure, as you head through different biomes that get repeated and re-used constantly. For example, you may find a treasure box hidden away behind a breakable wall. Cool. But when you come back around you will eventually run into the same tunnel, with the same breakable wall, and another treasure box. Its predictable and lazy. Overall this gets 2 stars for great art and music, but the game was billed as a "Religious Experience" and let me tell you, I am a non believer.

A thoroughly vanilla platformer with an agonizingly bad narrative and briefly novel visual design.
