Console Version is fine. There's not a lot of material from the movie that would make an exciting game, but Toys For Bob did their best anyway and actually made it worthwhile. I just wished the models didn't look so uncanny. The GBA Version stinks though. Typical 2D Platformer mistakes - small screen but with big characters, meaning you're gonna die a lot from not knowing where you're going or what's coming at you.

It's very short so it's just fun. Some missions are just bad but everything is fast so they're actually ok.Updated 7 Months Ago

A surprisingly above average licensed 3d platformer. Whilst not amazing in any way and it does take some imaginative liberty with the movie it's based on, the levels are generally pretty well designed and the experience isn't dragged out to oblivion. Despite this, the last level is a bit of a joke even for kids game and there were multiple times I felt the characters didnt quite move right when being controlled. That said, this is a good game and one I would recommend to anyone who is fond of 3d platformers.Updated 1 Year Ago

The GBA version is...not especially great, though it does look nice for a GBA game.Updated 2.5 Years Ago

actually had a decent amount of fun playing this as a kid. Doubt it holds up but minigolf is fun to come back to. Not much else to say, I thought it was actually pretty decent for a licensed game even as a kid.Updated 2.5 Years Ago

Definitely just played this as a joke. As far as licensed games go, it certainly could have been worse, but it's dreadfully shallow and awfully paced. About the only good thing here is the optional shuffleboard minigame.Updated 3 Years Ago

I was surprised at how much fun this game is. The settings are cool. The mechanics are more than just standard affair for action platformers. There's a large amount of unlock able content. The mini games are fun. The final boss and the animation aren't great, but over all one of the best film tie in games.Updated 7 Years Ago

Those looking for a good, kid-focused platformer will find it in Madagascar. It doesn't force you through level after level of mindless item collection. Instead, it boasts a number of well-designed levels that feature a variety of play styles. It's nothing extraordinary, mind you, and it's nothing innovative, but it plays well. Plus it comes wrapped in a package brimming with funny dialogue, decent animation and many unlockable extras. Definitely one to rent(or buy) for the kiddies.Updated 19 Years Ago
