Gameplay is fine albeit somewhat subpar compared to other esteemed AAA Open World RPG titles.Truth be told the constant dumb flings threw me off pretty hard. The sexy young witches are basically lining up to offer themselves to our sorry emotionless golem passing for a protagonist. There's the blond one, and the red hair one, and black hair one... who will Geralt choose? All of them probably 😩
The game is supposedly subverting the fantasy genre, but is doing so in the most conventional, tired way possible: by adding smut and gross monsters.

Gets a bonus for having two fantastic DLC stories.Really great game, although it has some odd quirks that are both charming and frustrating.
That said, I wish I had played the PC version. I went with PS4 bc i thought my laptop wouldn't be able to handle it. Found out years later that it could. The PS4 version had HORRIBLE load times, whereas PC had pretty fast times for whatever reason. Especially rough in difficult encounters

I really struggled with this one. It was the perfect case of wanting to enjoy a game more than i actually was, and i played it because i felt i should like it more. It promised a living world, deep characters, well written quests etc. Not sure why the combo just didn't click, but i can say a couple things that bothered me. The combat was not fun. Either too hard or too easy or too both. The ending was also dependent on rather inconsequential choices in the last hour or so of the game. Makes the rest of the journey feel rather pointless.Gwent was a good time. Love the music. The world and monsters are cool. The whole package just didn't click.

The story in this game is very well done. The character are mostly interesting. The exploration is very rewarding. The side quests are pretty good. I couldn't finish this game at the time because I was playing on ps4 and the graphic settings has bloom and other settings that make it hard for someone who is photosensitive to play it for a long time but I still managed to get close to beating the game. I think I only dropped it because of my health but then I watched 2 or 3 full playthroughs of the base game and one full playthrough of all of the dlcs. I'm not really interested in the combat anymore so I doubt I would replay it 100%. I do own it on pc now so I could see myself replaying the game to do all of the side quests and full explore the world possibly.

I love this game, its one of my favorite, its not perfect obviously but that score is just for a favorite.W3 has great everything except gameplay which is serviceable, but the its a game where the overall package is more than the sum of its parts. Cinematics, writing, art direction, music and atmosphere are all top tier kino.
In short i dont trust anybody who hates this game.

Characters and plot superb, gameplay is really solid (albeit there can be some small more grindey open world elements at times, which gets boring on a completionist run) and Geralt himself is a fantastic protagonist. Terrible level design in Ciri's Story Out of the Shadows. KB+M controls not excellent overall. Great story. Good characters. I love how relationships develop The intro sequence every time is a bit annoying if you are reloading a recent save. The combat isn't as smooth as it really should be. Often times, you miss enemies who you really should hit, but are just short and fast (like wolves). Not being able to fast travel unless you are at a fast travel point feels like an outdated system in a game like this. Game has camera issues and occasional crashes. In at least one fight I am unable to draw my sword, use signs, or eat for seemingly 0 reason. I expected a fairly modern GotY to have a high level of polish and QoL. I was sorely mistaken. The game is vast, and I did not explore the majority of side quests. The game is largely very good, but suffers from a lack of polish in a few key areas.

A truly beautiful game I got for $10 while randomly scrolling through Steam. The Witcher 3 was my first in the series yet the story encapsulated me and was beautifully cohesive. We all know how amazing the writing is in The Witcher but the complicated relationships and moral decisions that had to be made were what stood out to me most. Although sometimes it seems like a medieval Netflix movie, the game did not let that distract developers from creating intense combat. Despite overleveling being fairly easy to achieve, the fights were difficult as needed in normal mode. The actual perk system itself intertwined perfectly with armor making satisfying and creative builds to be achieved. The only downside to The Witcher could be how grindy achievements can be making this a nightmare if I wanted to 100%. Overall, this was an amazing story that pulled me into the depths of RPGs and made me crave more of Geralt's hot abs. Can't wait to complete the DLCs & NG+ after playing The Witcher 1's remake :D

35 saatlik #TheWitcher2 gameplayinden sonra yaklaşık 86 saatlik #thewitcher3wildhunt ufaktan hararet yapmama neden oldu 😀 tüm dlcleri ve ikincil ana görevleri yaptım. İki oyunu da hard zorlukta oynadım. Witcher 2 yer yer daha çok zorladı. Ekipmanımı sağlam tutmam gerekti. The witcher 3 ise dlclere kadar pek zorlamadı. Witcherlar benim için hikayesi güzel kalanı orta seviye bir oyun serisi olmaktan öteye gidemiyor. 7/10#beat

The available combat mechanics are truly limited, not really balanced and dont change after level 20 or so up to the half of the last dlc. Thats a bother if you decided to do the whole lot of side quests that, with the nice maps and graphics of the game, are quite attractive but it would mean that you would play with the same combat mechanics for 70 to 80 hours. Thats pretty sad considering the diversity that await you after half of the second dlc.Updated 4 Months Ago

The Witcher 3 is a a great game. The main story is very interesting and varied. The characters are well written and voice acted with interesting story moments. The game has a good amount of optional side content that can even alter the ending you get. The combat is pretty good with a few options of playstyle.
The game can be a little janky, especially when it comes to movement. Good music aswell. I really like the witcher sense that Geralt has. It adds an investigative element to the gameplay that makes it fun to uncover a "mystery". This gives them the opportunity to write more interesting quests, which I believe they succeeded in.

Incredible game, characters, storytelling, everything! Geralt is definitely one of my favorite protagonists of all time at this point. Everything is written and executed so well. Combat is fun, especially on Death March, and the overall gameplay mix feels great. Every single piece of content feels like it was built for a purpose and isn't simply there to make the game bigger. The quality of the DLCs is as good, if not better than the base game (looking at you Blood and Wine). One of my favorite games of all time. 9.5/10Updated 4 Months Ago
