Good game, but it's held back by the controls being awful. Some of the bosses also just aren't a threat at all and just stand there. I would have continued playing if it wasn't for the controls, but it was getting to the point where progressing was more trouble than it was worth. Unfortunate really.Updated 23 Hours Ago

It's playable, and it's so bad.I like mechas for action, and mecha games for challenging action.
It's pretty, and the controls and the counter-bullet ability are cool, never seen them before, but it's not an action game, it's a bad puzzle platformer.
Generally, the artistic decisions don't mesh: mismatching music and environment, horrible font, horrible UIX, a timer that goes into the negatives, no context given for why you're doing what you're doing and to whom, garbage time wasting "tutorial" boxes
The bosses... one is a clone of you and it's repeated 5 times, one is glued to a wall and does nothing and is repeated, two are ships
Somehow, ultraman is in this, no legal accountability.
I did 13 or 14 out of the 44 horrible puzzle platformer levels
This should've been a sideways shmup, or a run and gun.

Extremely fun shooter. The only flaw is that it's too long. 44 levels of really tough gameplay. It starts easy, but you'll quickly see how hard this game is.Updated 10.5 Years Ago

Some have said that Bangaioh is one of those love or hate games. I beg to differ. For fans of action-shooting, Bangioh is a game that you either love, or just don't understand yet.The Dreamcast version is slightly superior to the Nintendo 64 one (especially in price), but overall, the gameplay experience and fun they deliver are virtually identical.
