Not as good as the first one but still very entertaining. Some of the bosses are annoying and the levels aren't as interesting or atmospheric as in part 1.

House of the Dead is a an on rails light gun shooter, made for the arcade. I played the wii version which has a couple of different modes to make the game more interesting. Kill a bunch of zombies and creatures as you save the city from Goldman and his evil Emperor who is taking revenge on humans for destroying nature, or something... The story doesn't really matter just shoot stuff that tries to kill you and protect civilians. It has branching paths depending on whether or not you rescue the civilians, as well as other factors. Its a fun shooter to play with a friend on the wii, but dont put your money in this arcade machine because you probably wont last long.Updated 3.5 Years Ago

Greatest voice acting. Ever. This game is even more over-the-top and cheesy than the first. The voice acting is so bad, so hilarious. It follows essentially the same formula as the first; most of the bosses are basically re-skins of bosses from the first game (one of them actually is exactly the same), and you'll have to fight many of them twice, which, like in the first, gets a bit tedious and feels pretty cheap. There's a lot more varied environments in this sequel, though honestly I think I might actually prefer the haunted house vibe of the first one (it is called House of the Dead after all). Still, this game is even more "so bad it's good" than the first, ergo perhaps more enjoyable.Updated 10 Years Ago
