I got a 3DS a few days ago and only got 4 games so far, can anyone suggest some games that are really good.

I have these 4 so far:
- Resident Evil: Revelations, just finished it yesterday and really enjoyed it, I am really impressed with it.
- Bit.trip Collection, the only one of the collection am enjoying is Runner but am stuck at 3-9 and I don't think I will ever pass it.
- Super Mario 3D Land, it's quite fun but nothing special
- Pushmo, very entertaining but its becoming really difficult.

Also does the DS games work with the 3DS? if yes then recommend one that is a must-play.

Mario Kart 7
Kid Icarus: Uprising you may not like the controls aren't that great in my opinion.
Ocarina of Time 3D you should for sure have and should of had a long time ago.
Mutant Mudds Good game.
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition good game if you like Street Fighter games.

And yes DS games do work with the 3DS

Never been a fan of karting games, no objective its just for fun in-between games. Kid Icarus seems weird, I don't think I will enjoy it. Also I suck at fighter games.

Ocraine of Time seems very intriguing, I never played a Zelda game before so this seems like a good one to start with. I will check Mutant Mudds seems really interesting, will grab it now. Thanks.

In addition to the discussed:
I love StarFox 64 3D. If you were a fan of the 64 title, it's worth checking out.
Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is a pretty neat little strategy RPG.
Chrono Trigger for the DS
Elite Beat Agents on the DS. I love how ridiculously over the top it is, but it's probably not for everyone.

Well... what genres do you like, exactly? I don't want to make a big ol' list of DS games that you wouldn't like. As for 3DS, there isn't too much out right now, but I second the Ocarina of Time 3D recommendation.

Theatrhthym Final Fantasy is amazingly addictive. For fans of rhythm games and Final Fantasy.

In DS I played just a few games that I loved: Hotel Dusk, Ghost Trick & 999. Games like that are amazing and for some reason only exist on DS. So anything similar to these would be awesome.

I suggest buying Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon once it comes out in the holidays!

Well, um... there's the Phoenix Wright/Ace Attorney series, made by the same team that made Ghost Trick. There's also the Professor Layton series, which is more puzzle based, but is sort of like the games you mentioned. Both series are for the DS.

Trace Memory was an early, if simple, game for the DS in the same genre.

If it's as good as the first Luigi's Mansion for GameCube, it's worth buying ^^

If you haven't played it before maybe you'd like Metal Gear Solid 3 for 3DS?

Ever Oasis is a good one to sink your time into. You go around gathering resources, NPC's, and fight enemies to help rebuild your own fantastical oasis town. Flawed and at times repetitive, but fun and a lot of bang for your buck in shorter bursts over a longer period of time.

Since you like 999, you might like the Ace Attorney games. If you are looking for something that's challenging and gameplay focused I recommend Shin Megami Tensei 4

ATLUS’ Radiant Historia and Etrian Odyssey series are really good.

For indie games, I’d recommend SEVERED and the two Fairune games.
An oddity on the eshop is Automaton Lung, a collectathon 3D platformer that came out just in 2022, which I had fun with.
