(sorry one more) i did bulk edit and moved 3 games from completed to backlog, the counter of beaten games on top of my profile didn't substract 3 it stayed the same - 317 but it should be 314.

EDIT it was like this for an hour, but after making this post it updated to 314.

Sorry for the troubles.

Last night I updated the site to require post and thread privileges to use the chat.

I stripped them of PMs, posts and threads. Since they deleted their own account, they were able to make a new one this morning and gain privileges back. Then they posted a new message and thread to gain access to the chat. I should have seen that coming. I was hoping they would make a new account and see that the chat was still not there and decide it wasn't worth their time.

The user has now been IP banned. But the thing with the internet is that there are unlimited ways to circumvent. Stay vigilant.

I'm undecided about chat. I'll think about removing it. Please voice your opinion if you have one on its existence. It was just an experiment that I said would likely shut down one day.

Bulk edit seems to default to showing ratings. I'm not interested in the ratings but it's fine.

However I have Lego Horizon in my backlog and it shows a 100% rating. Despite not being released and having no reviews. Everything else in my backlog has NR on games with no reviews. Maybe because those games have registered times from other people?

Bulk edit shouldn't change anything other than your "options" column. Everything is based on your Sorts.

Backlogs show Global Rating by default.

- Remove will delete the playthrough entirely if it only exists in the 1 list type you have selected.
- Move will transfer it from any existing lists to a single list.
- Modify allows you to bulk update Storefronts and Platforms.
- You can move freely throughout all of your lists and pages while selecting.
- Bulk section will display a tally of lists containing selected playthroughs to make you aware of your decision.

Hi. I've only just started logging my times. So I'm a little confused as to how the times from Steam imports works. Does the site only grab the times at the moment of import? Or does the site update the time as you play? I'm guessing it's the first, but I want to make sure.

For example: I imported a game when only 5 minutes into it. I have since put 8 hours into said game but the site is still only showing those original 5 minutes.

It only grabs the time at import, it doesn't automatically go back. However, simply click on edit for that playthrough and then click the Steam icon next to the progress box and it will automatically pull in the new time.

Never heard of the 2nd game.

I was more talking about how there will be no select all checkbox because then the user has to know if it's selecting all the games, on all the pages, on all the lists, etc.

Having them manually select each item means that they've signed off on every item. There will be a prompt for confirmation.

Only got a couple hours in on it but here is the WIP to give you a general idea:



So Far:
Support for Add / Removing from Lists
Support for updating Platform and/or Storefront

Musings:
Right now you can select any lists, any page, swap between them, etc. basically full freedom to move throughout. You can check anything on any of those views. It will keep track of the count at the bottom and then you can take action. I'm trying to decide if this will end up being confusing for people. It has the benefit of being incredibly flexible but I want the user to understand they are deleting everything they have checked. The alternative is only allowing you to work with what is currently on display.

There will be more work done on UI design. It already looks a bit different than the video. Maybe something like "Updating 23 Games from Playing, Backlog & Completed" to explain that it may be more than you are currently viewing. There is no select all because I want the user to explicitly choose which items to update so there are no accidental changes.

It would be nice if we could bulk-select games from any list/collection and be able to do some queries with them. E.g. mark as completed/playing/retired/etc, add/remove to a custom list or collection, sync Steam playtime, etc.

How is the math done? Because the only ratings are a single 8/10 and a single 9/10, so logically speaking that should be 8.5?

Well the complication comes from supporting 3 review scales.

The true review scores are actually 80% and 85%.

The 85% is rounded up to 9/10 for you on 10 point scale.

So its is actually the average of 80 and 85 = 82.5 but rounded up to 83% or 8.3 on your scale.

I dont know if this is said before but eveytime i import games from steam there's always one that stays behind, next time i choose import again the game is back there instead of added to the list i choice (the only way to get around it is to search the game and add it manually that makes it disapears).
