An excellent game to play and my first experience with the ps5. Each level truly has a unique feel that kept me wanting to play more. It’s bittersweet that I finished it so fast but I had so much fun doing so, the environments will have you awed and the gameplay is simple enough that anyone can pick it up and enjoy this game. Highly recommend to anyone with a PS5

Didn't want to believe the hype, but it is really that good. It is on the same tier as Mario Galaxy. There's so much love put into this game, I swear there's not a single part where I feel they cut corners or didn't give it their all. The levels all feel unique and I love the different abilities. The collectibles are so much fun to collect, and I feel the Playstation references gives me even more of an incentive to be excited to get them. After beating the game, I just have a few collectibles here and there to collect, but I'm excited to get the last of them. Such a great game, I highly recommend to anyone who loves Mario Galaxy or Mario Odyssey.

Le meilleur jeu de plateformes depuis quasiment 10 ans et je pèse mes mots !
Une direction artistique à tomber par terre, c'est beau, c'est hyper coloré, une véritable lettre d'amour à ceux qui ont grandi avec les consoles de Sony, plus de 170 références où je me rend compte qu'on a des licences de fou.

Le gameplay est aux petits oignons même si ça devient un peu répétitif quand on approche de la fin, mais le nombre d'idées, le nombre de choses à l'écran, les sensations à la manette sont complètement folles bref vraiment foncez sur ce bijou absolu de la PS5 !

Aucun problème technique, aucun bug, pas de micro-transactions, pas un jeu service, un pur jeu solo : UN VRAI BON JV

Et oui, c'est un sérieux prétendant au GOTY

(This review is being posted the day the game came out, but i did 100% it lol. i was able to get the game a few days early, i haven't been up since midnight.)
No other game ive played this year has made me feel as purely happy as Astro Bot! This will probably be my GOTY. It’s so wonderful to see Sony getting behind a genuinely AMAZING 3D platformer. Every level is fun, there wasnt a single time when i groaned at something or was hoping for the game to end. New gimmicks are introduced at a rapid pace so the gameplay always feels fresh! The power ups are all so much fun and are extremely creative! My favorite is the one where you slow down time, but every one of them is great. They all feel distinct with the adaptive triggers too! I think its so cool how the game shows off the PS5s power perfectly with all these little particles and tiny objects on the ground that all have their own physics. Not to mention the game runs in 4K at 60 FPS with no noticeable dips ever. Of course, the playstation cameos were such a joy to see. There are so many things i never thought would ever be referenced again, although there are a few weird omissions, mainly of the Square Enix variety. Astro Bot is pure 3D platforming joy. It deserves to stand up there with Mario Galaxy and Odyssey as the peak of the genre. Its the best PS5 game in my opinion.

Astro Bot made me smile from beginning to end. A collection of endlessly inventive levels and fantastically fun abilities, it delivers joy in spades, never once becoming even remotely dull or repetitive. And while you don’t need a long history with Sony systems to enjoy it, it is especially a delight for those with a piece of PlayStation in their heart as a treasure trove full of playable nostalgia awaits. Taking the PS5 marketing mantra that “play has no limits” more seriously than you’d expect, Team Asobi has crafted a mascot platformer that goes near enough toe-to-toe with Nintendo's best efforts, and that's about as high a compliment as I can give it.
