Guys, I am getting married! We've been together for five years and set the date last week. The wedding will be in Los Angeles (we're both from there, although we lived in a couple of cities in CA, long story). Anyway, that's the happy part of the news, and I'm afraid the planning will be the tricky one. I only glanced at this, but the wedding venues in Los Angeles are pretty expensive, even for a small party (we don't plan to have more than 30-40 guests). The idea is to keep it around $5k, so fingers crossed we fall in love with one of the options from the list that matcher our criteria. And then, of course, there's this situation between two of my cousins (long story, some old grudges), and I would love to have both of them there. Plus, I know both of our parents will want to get super involved, so we plan on telling them after we decide to book the venue (so it has to be soon, we are aiming to get married next April!). Oookay, that's enough for now. I just wanted to share my big news, which turned into a rant; thanks for bearing with me. Feel free to jump in with any tips or recommendations for the venue (LA folks), dealing with family, or just stress relief techniques

Thanks a bunch! Well, yeah, watch me do the same and pick the first one. Would do it anyway, but especially now that I know it worked for you. It may sound silly, I know I could've Googled this, but I really prefer a first-hand recommendation. And the TV series you mentioned - watched tons of them, just finished The Chestnut Man.

Hey everyone! I'm thinking to share my YouTube playlist and IMDB's best thrillers list with a group of online buddies, and I thought it would be cool to create a QR code, like a shortcut. Any recommendations for a free QR code generator that won't expire? I've heard some do, and I don't want that hassle. I know QR codes are big in business, but I've heard people use them for all sorts of things - even sharing Wi-Fi with guests. By the way, is making a QR code difficult? Don't laugh. Thanks for any suggestions!

Just finished The Fellowship of the Ring, and enjoyed reading it, as expected. Took me way too long to buy these books, kept postponing it for ages.

I work at a law office so hard copy file management is a recurring struggle for me, otherwise we'll get swamped within days. And yeah, we do use a DMS that automatically routes each new scan for us. We just set a path ("rules") for the program to follow and it all integrates with the regular Windows folders seamlessly. So, it's all easy to learn and logical, I don't think we've made a mistake so far. As for the price, the app we use is called FileCenter and I think it costs $5 a month, though there's a free trial as well. Take a look when you can, I'm pretty sure it comes with all the features you'd need for this

Thanks for reminding me, haven't watched those in a while. The best part of Jackie's movies - the bloopers in the end, priceless!
Watched God's crooked lines (2022) the other day, a very good Spanish thriller.
