I was a young lad playing kings quest V on the PC. I had gotten to the final castle and saved. The game auto went to opening screen when you booted it up and so at the first screen of the game i went to load my file, however i forgot if save or load was how you got your game back. So i saved the game on the file. then tried to load...and loaded the file i had just saved on the first screen of the game. lost all progress for me and my brother's game. i walked away from the computer and never spoke of it to anyone. there was much yelling that day

im working my way through the sega master collection on ps2 and beat golden axe 2 and 2 this week. The next on my list is Kid Chameleon. Im getting far into the game but just not able to put together a good run.

i have about 80 unbeaten games and have averaged about +10 progress every year, so yknow, 8 years ish. i always keep one of the games that im playing as the earliest game i added to backloggery.com so at least im knocking off the oldest stuff and replacing it with newer stuff.

Yea i read the indepth analysis thats out there, and half way through decided if i have to read a 20 page analysis to "get" it, that its to much work.

Just finished the game.
i dont think i've ever finished a game and said "what the hell was all that about" i couldn't tell you one major plot point to this game and what it means.

like...it was an enjoyable game...but damn japan, you make some crazy shit.

Apparently July was retro month for me.

Yea, it took some work, but eventually got the credits to roll. got the bad ending but i felt accomplished after how hard i found the game growing up.

Time to nitpick!
If you bring up your completed games list it defaults to organized by date of completion.

If you want to list it alphabetically there is no game name option, you appear to have to select "sort options", which is not intuitive as I stared at the list for "by name" for far to long before trying this.
