Solid platformer, full of reference to his past videos. Game is rather difficult at times, but there are frequent checkpoints that should alleviate the difficulty. Play it with a controller just like AVGN would have want you to.

It took me 9 years to beat the final boss. That guy is way too hard. The rest of the game is awesome for the most part.

Back when I tried it...it was just kind of annoying. Nothing too hard aside from a ton of instakill blocks, which is kind of cheap level design. Wasn't that fun. Might give it another shot, not counting on it.

Well made game whose length can only be attributed to its difficulty. Even "Normal" is cruel. I simply could not beat the final boss on "Normal", even after 100 tries. That's not fair.

Decent Mega Man tribute with just enough "Nerd" humor to not wear out it's welcome. My only gripe is that it sometimes felt tough for the sake of being tough.

Definitely worth playing if you're a fan of the series. Otherwise, you'll probably think this game has flawed level designs, "artificial difficulty" and edgy humour... and you'd be right. They made it like this on purpose as the nerds would always rage about those points.

This game has a very retro/modern feel to it. I like that you can die an infinite number of times, although this definitely caused me to die far more than I would have normally died. I pretty much just wasted life after life, often trying to blow through sections way faster than I could. This game is filled with bad puns and references to the YouTube channel, and I loved that! If you're a fan of the show, definitely give this game a play-through!

Btw, that boss battle at the end was insanely hard for me. Spent over an hour trying to beat it. All the other bosses seemed pretty easy actually.

Challenging in a really funny way and it's easy to love this game if you like Angry Video Game Nerd. Worth your money!

I watch the Nerd on Youtube, so I was excited about this game. Surely someone who understands games on such a fundamental level will have an excellent game of his own. Actually, it's just average. The mechanics are not that great. The levels are not that well designed. The music is good, and I laughed a few times.
