Great story, and characters. Action is sparse, but this only makes the action stand out better. Gameplay is more linear, but this gives the game more time to better develop the characters, and gives much added weight to the villain. So far, the best of season 2, and rivals the best of season 1.Updated 3 Years Ago

Not only is this chapter a staggering improvement over its predecessor, it is perhaps the most complex episode of the series next to Chapter 4 of Season 1 (which is still, by far, the most complex). It wraps up and follows-up with the cliffhanger in the previous chapter, introduces an INSANELY chilling antagonist, and completely re-locates to another location, all by the half way mark. And if it weren't spoiled for me, I would've been floored by the surprise appearance by a returning character, one we assumed we would not see again. But what makes this episode great is the fact that it legitimately keeps the tension up, from the way that an old friend's behavior is a little off, to the ever-present fear looming over your newly-joined party at the discovery of this new antagonist's return to their home. What makes everything even more surprising is that there is actually surprisingly very little violence during the most intense moments the ever looming threat of what might happen is considerably stronger than anything that actually does, and combine this with what would already be a moderately compelling chapter's worth of events & twists, and you've got a seriously engaging storytelling experience. This isn't the best chapter, but it's very much worth your time, not only blasting the tension high but even ending on a very seriously nail-biting cliffhanger.Updated 3.5 Years Ago

+ Nice art style+ Great story
+ Great characters
+ Tension is built up so well
+ Great voice acting
+ Great music
+ Great ending
+ Great variety of choices and genuinely difficult ones too
- Still has technical hiccups like occasional freezes
+ Even the gameplay feels better since you can now hold R2 to move faster compared to season one, and the action sequences are much more involved and tense
- Occasional bad writing
+ The game harkening back to your choices, even from Season One, is fantastic

Tense, quiet and heartfelt; this is Telltale at their best. My only gripe is it seems like each story gets shorter, but that really doesn't matter when very little of it is wasted. Also need to check my 400 days file to remember who the hell went where haha.Updated 10.5 Years Ago

Episode 2 of The Walking Dead: Season 2 is one of the best Telltale has ever made. It’s big, full of great dialogue, devastating consequences, memorable and fun action scenes, and places a smart, scary plot at center stage. Clementine’s character growth remains the most interesting aspect of Season 2, and The Walking Dead is walking her down a more brutal, disturbing path than ever before.Updated 10.5 Years Ago
