There is a bad habit that some games are doing now where a story now ends with a long, low-energy epilogue that tries to emotionally wrap everything together. This can already be a bit dull, and the fact that this game does this AND makes this the Series Climax is slightly annoying – However, it does do a good job at least combining all of the plot threads and decisions you've made into account, so really the only thing I didn't like was how incredibly long this scene was. As such, I can't say it was nearly as bad as the epilogue in Uncharted 4, or the worst use of attempted emotionally manipulative epilogue ever: The Last of Us 2. However, then the game gives us a big twist ending, but despite having played all games over the course of only a weekend, I didn't really understand this twist whatsoever.. I can't say it didn't get my attention, as it indeed suggests something pretty big, but I walked away more confused than shocked. Now, despite this, this is a somewhat satisfying conclusion, featuring a pretty kickass action sequence during the entire middle chunk, and while the ending itself was a bit low-energy and low on emotion, it did incorporate my previous decisions in a very methodical way, which I do applaud. Not the best episode, but ultimately a worthy finale to a generally solid series.Updated 2 Years Ago

Despite being the shortest, I think in this final episode the story progresses more than in the previous four combined. It's action-packed from the beginning to the end, has some interesting twists and very tough decisions to make, and all of it culminates in the end, where the Crooked Man has to stand trial (but it would have been nice, if you could actually lose, this way, you can say anything, the results will be the same). Overall this game's wonderful atmoshphere, and great characters (even if some are very no-name since they could not kill any canon characters) made it one of Telltale's best, and one absolutely worth checking out.Updated 7 Years Ago

A solid finale to a pretty good series. The Crooked Man's trial is intense and animated. The back and forth is nerve-wracking, although I felt like he was able to sway people to his side a little too easily. Even without evidence, everyone present had ample reason to despise him. A lot of the surrounding scenes also felt rushed--Vivian's death holds little emotional weight since she's such a minor character before this episode, and the battle with Bloody Mary is cool and protracted, but there's no consequence to Bigby's "Big Bad Wolf" transformation. The trial scenes earns this episode its stripes though.Updated 7 Years Ago

Really loved this series, possibly more than The Walking Dead. The characters and the world were very interesting, and the choices you had to make were more subtle. I wish Telltale would actually add some puzzles and challenge into their games, but they've really got the narrative part nailed.Updated 10 Years Ago
