Did you think Catherine was a hard game or easy game or inbetween?
My opinion would be it was a hard game but yet easy after Baby Chainsaw Boss. And yet you have to know what your doing and think so fast on all bosses.
What boss do you think was the toughest?
My opinion would be Katherine because of her damn ice slide power and the level itself was a pain in the ass.
What did you think of the story?
The story was so good i could watch it as if it was a anime show.

Well puzzle/gameplay was somewhere in a the middle, I struggled a few times but it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed it at first but quickly wished it weren't in the game.
The story was amazing and single handily makes playing the game worth it. I was instantly pulled in. Even went through the work of getting the multiple endings. I highly recommend people play this game and if they aren't willing to sit through the puzzles, they need to watch the story on youtube or something. Excellent, excellent story!

As expected of the Persona team, the story was great. I like Katherine true end best, though Catherine true end was pretty crazy.
The only story bit I thought was unnecessary was the end Golden Playhouse segment where she tells you directly what the blocks are a metaphor for, as if it wasn't obvious enough playing through the game, the message was already as subtle as a brick to the head. There's a difference between being meta and spoonfeeding you the deeper meanings, and Catherine came pretty close to crossing that.
Getting all gold trophies on normal was ridiculously easy with the exploitable undo feature. Bosses gave me some trouble at first but then I got better at it as I played more and suddenly golding the whole game on Normal was a breeze. After that everything was easy since you can skip cutscenes/whole levels. The only thing not easy was Babel. The random block setups make that crap impossible.
.
Rapunzel is fun because it's like a true puzzle game. No pressure, no time limit. But no undo. It can get quite tough though.
Hard is...hard. Like Rapunzel, there is no undo. I didn't get very far. XD
Most infuriating boss: probably Doom's Bride

Puzzle elements in the beginning was great fun! But as the story went on I wished I could skip the puzzles and just learn what was going to happen next.

I thought Catherine was a decent enough game. I liked the story up until the bartender's big reveal; I hated everything after that point. The puzzle elements were really nice, but I do have one bone to pick: I think they should have either taken out the strategy sheep or re-organized when each strategy is revealed. A lot of simple strategies can be hard to work out on your own, but they don't tell you the most useful (and most basic) ones until the last quarter of the game. At that point the player has either worked it out for themselves or they don't have much time to get a handle on it before they're forced to add more complex components on top of it. It was a good game, but not very memorable to me.

Same for me, I wanted to play through this game multiple times to see all the endings... But i just ended up watching them on Youtube LOL
What did you think of the story?
Shame more games don't deal with adult issues, like this game did. Well until the end at least when it starts to get a bit wacky ;)

Played this way back in the day at launch on my 360 as a rental.
Definitely was one of the tougher games I recall beating, though many titles have since eclipsed that, both beaten or not.
Every boss starting at the midway point of the game onwards started giving me hell, though I don’t recall off the top of my head which one gave me the most trouble. Probably the final boss or Shadow Vincent from what I remember.
The story is still one of the most intriguingly surreal takes on the subject matter of relationships. Very engaging, at times thought provoking, but also rather silly and awkward writing wise in regards to some dialogue. And I’m not the biggest fan of how the endings and how you reach them are tied to the morality system. In most other games it’s not that big of an issue, but since your moral pendulum is partially determined by questioners you answer during levels it makes the act of choosing seem trivial. Would have been better if the game focused more on choices and decisions outside of the level questions have more of an impact, though they do add to it to some extent.
