Blimey, haven't you heard the #1 steam sale rule? Wait for the daily deals
edit: Apologies, I'm assuming you bought all these on the first day. The rule still applies though :P

So far I picked up Scribblenauts Unlimited, and I have my eyes on Darksiders II, something I'd like to pick up before a worse fate befalls THQ. After that it's really just whatever comes up since I've managed to get most of everything from the other sales. I still have ~250 games on my wishlist but they are mostly lesser games that are unlikely to get daily / flash sales, but still.....rule number 1.

I bought my games in the bundles not seperate. I was just labeling what games I got.

Aye I know. Just waiting until tomorrow's daily deals just incase something else shows up that I'd prefer instead with the daily deals being up for 48 hours and all, so there's no rush, even though I'm pretty sure I'll grab it before it disappears. The pricing on Darksiders 2 seems odd as well, with the game by itself being the same price as the entire franchise pack, not that I'm complaining lol.

We haven't bought anything yet, mainly because we bought most of the items during the Autumn sale that we wanted.

I was thinking about the Darksiders bundle, but I just got the first one via the THQ bundle a couple weeks ago, and I don't think buying the second one alone would be worth it. I'm just waiting on daily deals, but there's nothing eye-grabbing yet.

Not bought anything off it directly yet.. Although lord of the rings: war in the north (which registers on steam) from greenmangaming for £2.60ish. Also got Grimrock, Shank 2, Dungeon Defenders + all DLC plus others from humble bundle for £4 (which again register on steam).

I picked up a few things, though I am still working through my summer sale stuff.
Al little bummed that I bought the THQ pack over the summer for l$60 and now its $25 with a couple more games, but ah well.

Darksiders 1/2 is totally worth it. I just finished 1 a couple weeks ago and playing 2 now. In my opinion two is much better, though that because I like the RPG elements.

As for this sale I did pick up a few things that dropped down pretty cheap

Divine divinity
Divinity 2
Beyond Divinity
Blood Bowl
Forge
I am Alive
Mark of the Ninja
Ghost Recon Future Soldier
Dear Ester
The Walking Dead

I am keeping my eye out for Farcry 3 to get a good flash sale but we will see.

So far I got Orcs Must Die! 1 and 2 as well as Torchlight for myself. I also gifted Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition for one of my friends. I'm hoping that Knights of the Old Republic II will drop a bit more in price and I might get Dark Souls, not too sure if I want it on my computer or one of my consoles instead.

I ended up buying the Darksiders bundle, just for II and the DLC. We also bought Ace of Spades (rather, my boyfriend did) and an extra copy of Knights of the Old Republic II... just for a quick gift idea in case we need something for someone.

Still not much i'm grabbing... definitely not as much as I've gotten from Steam sales in the past. Guess it was just too soon :p

Steam sales are things I look forward to and dread at the same time.

As it stands I have far to many games than I have time to play, and yet each time a steam sale happens I say to myself, I already have enough games that rational thinking goes out the window.
I soon find myself saying ah just one more game, or its only $3 even if i never play it its not a big deal...and then I realize I spent $150 on games.

This steam sale has been a tad disappointing.

For example, XCom: Enemy Unknown is currently on sale at 33% off leaving it at £20.09. On Green Man Gaming the same game is currently 50% off setting it at £14.99 and by applying their 30% discount coupon it brings it all the way down to £10.50. and it registers on steam.

I was interested in Painkiller: Hell and Damnation seeing it marked as £8.99 on steam only again to find it on GMG for the same price which lowered to £6.30 with the 30% coupon yet again, and also registers on steam. So yeah, overall the steam sale has me a tad puzzled, certainly not as "mad" as previous years. There have been a few good deals here and there but I think the greatest value is lying in the bundles now and they are pointless when you already own most of the games in them, which I do. Oh well can't really complain, these steam sales have changed so much for PC gaming at the end of the day.

Meant to pick up Hotline Miami for just a few bucks the other day, but I forgot. Now the price is back up a little... not that it's an expensive game, but I prefer to buy things on sale.

I know what you mean, Chronoja. The first year I was really able to buy Steam games I got a TON of bundles... but now they're not worth it, because I own most of the games bundled up now. I really wish they'd give us an extra copy... then I could have gifts to give away and all that. I never really understood why Steam wouldn't let us do that, to be honest.

Again I must bring it to peoples attention. Devil may cry 4, on steam at the moment for £4.75 (flash sale), on GMG is currently £1.19 ($1.90 if the conversion is correct)with use of their coupon and again it's key registers on steam. It's probably starting to sound like I'm campaigning for GMG at this point but really I'm just trying to make people aware of the fact that these steam sales are being absolutely put to shame in some instances and they are worth keeping an eye on.

I should have clarified. This code here GMG30-DPLIM-DN831 , applied at the checkout. You can re-use it but it can only be applied to one game per checkout if that makes sense. I can guarantee that it works, I've personally bought a handful of games over the last few days using this as well as recommending a few purchases to a couple of friends. It does work with games already on sale, but I won't state that it will work with everything.

Example: Earlier today, myself and a friend purchased Civ 5: Gods and Kings expansion. It's currently on sale, 85% off leaving it at £2.99. With that code the price fell further to £2.10.

It may be that it's a regional thing. Perhaps the U.K. or Europe are seeing these deals while the U.S. are seeing differently, I don't quite know. What I do know is that some games are going on sale for better value than the current steam sale.

I so far picked up "" RPG Maker VX Ace "" for $ 35 on a 50 % sale

Another game i looked into was "" TO THE MOON "" since it was $ 5.
I looked into it, and everyone was saying how emotional of a game it was.
After experiencing JOURNEY on the PS3, i'll gladly pay for another game like that.

SPACE CHEM & PUZZLE DIMENSION .... both for less then $5
--- relatively cheap puzzle games, that will give me lots of hours to solve them.

GUARDIANS OF GRAXIA for its card game element, on a grid environment.

Various titles i got from the HUMBLE BUNDLE for $7 total :

--- Dungeon Defenders
--- Binding of Isaac
--- Legend of Grimrock
--- Shank 2
--- Snapshot
--- Indie Game: The Movie

Finally gave in and bought Thirty Flights of Loving and Hamlet or The Last Game without MMORPG Features, Shaders and Product Placement. Looking forward to both, especially the first one since Gravity Bone was so much fun.
