Nota: 7/10
Pontos que poderiam melhorar:
- História mais direta e melhor dirigida
- Vilão mais presente no enredo
- Gameplay e combate repetitivos
- Missões secundárias pouco interessantes

Fun game, enjoyed the story, combat was fine but the game seemed very easy.Cool skills and amazing world.
Didn't really do any side quests as I wasn't really bothered but still enjoyed the game. Didn't really go out of my way to find items or relics or praying stations.

Ghostwire: Tokyo caught me by surprise as a dark horse of a game that I was not expecting to enjoy. I played through it because I heard it was an alright game through the grapevine and most things Bethesda are good so I figured why not and man was I pleasantly surprised by the results. The first thing I want to bring up is the entire message of the game. The very end your sister dies and you discover your own story, the story of death that has been with you your whole life and how you should have died in that car crash. If you have ever experienced or suffered loss in your life I hope you play this game because it will pull on your heart strings. But it will do it in a way that you never expected out of a game like this.
When it comes to the game as a whole the game play is enjoyable, now was it a little annoying that some skills were locked behind levels? Yeah but it didn't really stop what I call the Goku-effecation of the game when you turn into a super Saiyan and can destroy ten thousand enemies at the same time. It does a wonderful job of slowly but surely ramping up your skill and ability.
There are a great couple of parts of the game where your spirit is ripped from within you, you then are forced to play the game and face the horrors of Tokyo without your special magical abilities and I loved that as an idea and it was played well! You were forced to get out of your comfort zone and place in a different way then you were used to and that is such an awesome idea that I think more games should take note of.
I do also want to give a point to the look of the game, it is drop dead gorgeous when it wants to be and I felt like I could take a screen shot at any point in the game it would have been a background for a computer. This game does really well water, which is hard to get right in video games and I was so pleasantly surprised with the out come of it all.
I did have one complaint and that was there was a lot going on in this game, felt like a million side questions, tons of different things to find, just too much going on when I know it helps in the process of making you more powerful and I imagine the side quests are good but I just didn't want to be burdened by so much going on in the game that I shut off the markers on the map and just focused on the story and the fast travel locations. I do wish there was a little less to do in the map because it just felt overwhelming every time I looked at it.
Overall with four positive points and only one negative I give Ghostwire: Tokyo a glowing 8/10 and a well worth recommendation from myself.

Nice story although a little short and simple. Battle mechanics were shallow and required little skill.I really liked the collecting in this game. The environment and graphics looked good and added to the atmosphere. There was a lot to do but the game provided many ways to see what you were missing and how to find it.

All of the other reviewers who say this game has too much bloat are correct. The game is beautiful and the concept is fresh. The Japanese folklore involved is really surface-level but it's still cool seeing it all around you. I felt like I did a LOT of the side content, but I'd guess I only averaged around 50-60% of all unlockables (I think I only skipped 3 side quests). This ended up with me having so many skills unlocked that the combat and bosses no longer felt challenging and the final set of bosses were a pretty big letdown. Still worth the play and the storytelling is (for the most part) enjoyable.Updated 3.5 Months Ago

Ghostwire Tokyo presents an intriguing premise where the residents of Tokyo mysteriously vanish, and supernatural beings take over the city. However, the execution falls short of expectations. The story is relatively short and fails to build continuous tension. It often feels rushed and would have benefited from deeper character development and a more complex plot.
The game manages to create some unsettling moments. Scenes where supernatural enemies suddenly appear do induce a certain level of unease.
However, it lacks the truly intense scare moments found in genre heavyweights like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. The game positions itself more in the realm of gentle horror, relying more on atmosphere than pure fright.
One of the game's strengths is its richly detailed world, filled with Japanese myths and legends. Throughout the city, you'll find references to traditional stories and mythical creatures, making the game particularly interesting for fans of Japanese culture. These elements are carefully integrated into the game world and significantly contribute to its unique atmosphere.
The combat is surprisingly simple. Using various magical abilities, you fight off the numerous demons haunting Tokyo. Despite its simplicity, the combat does not become boring even after 30 hours of gameplay.
The map is satisfyingly large and invites exploration. The city is filled with collectibles that reward the player and add to the atmosphere. Traversing the map is made easy with well-placed fast travel points and intuitive navigation.
Conclusion
Ghostwire: Tokyo is a game that shines through its unique atmosphere and deep incorporation of Japanese myths and legends. Although the story is relatively short and not particularly thrilling, the unsettling atmosphere and simple yet enjoyable combat make for an overall positive gaming experience. Those interested in Japanese culture and gentle horror will certainly enjoy it.

It's a nice game; it's not perfect and it's not for everybody. This is a japanese game with a lot of japanese culture: you're not gonna like it if you're not interested in japanese culture. It's a "strange" fps, but it's funny and has a lot of content to play with. The main quest is weakened by the secondary activities.

The game's graphics and sound are decent. The fighting system starts off fun but becomes simplistic after a few hours. However, there are options to increase combos and skills through the skill tree. Talismans are not extensively used but still serve their purpose. The story is good but not exceptional. Boss events offer varied gameplay which could have been more challenging. Overall, the game is not bad, but the price may be high for what it offers. However, if you find it on sale, it's worth considering.

Ghostwire: TokyoPontos positivos:
- Ambientação: É sensacional, o melhor ponto do jogo é andar pela cidade de Tóquio, becos estreitos, ruas muito bem iluminadas com elementos da cultura japonesa e ao mesmo tempo vazias por conta do perigo dos Rain Walkers e outros inimigos;
- Gráficos: São bonitos mais por conta da cidade de Tóquio que é muito bem detalhada, com um trabalho de iluminação ótimo e efeitos de combate artisticamente bonitos;
- História: O mistério do início do game que ocorre na cidade é o principal fator que te prende na história, sendo ela dramática, bem contada e interessante;
- Missões: Os objetivos das missões são divertidos e possuem cenários criativos, algumas delas parecem até que você está dentro de um pesadelo e a maioria delas você é transportado para o plano espiritual. Algo que o jogo carece um pouco é variação da gameplay em certas missões;
- Combate: É divertido, tem três tipos de poderes base ou "magias", tendo também alguns itens para invocar durante a batalha que também funcionam bem. Na movimentação podemos planar, esquivar saltar e escalar;
- Customização: É razoável, porém pelo jogo ser em 1ª pessoa acaba não fazendo muita diferença e em certas cutscenes seu personagem não aparece com a roupa selecionada;
- Armas ou poderes: Tem um número ok de poderes, sendo eles relacionados a vento, água e fogo que podemos atirar através do KK, com uma variação após melhorar a árvore de habilidades boa. Também temos o arco e flecha que é útil no stealth.
Pontos negativos:
- Progressão: Tem uma progressão legal a princípio, mas acaba se estragando pela parte bem maçante de obter xp através de espíritos que precisam ser libertados;
- Parkour: Escalar neste jogo muitas vezes é uma tarefa frustrante, pois diversas horas seu personagem não agarra a borda da plataforma e você cai, só fica melhor após você desbloquear certas mecânicas na árvore de habilidades;

wasn't sure what to make of this going in. when it was first revealed i thought it looked exciting when it looked more of a horror centric title but as more was shown i kinda cooled on it. add in the somewhat middling reception and i let this fall off my radar until it hit Game Pass. having actually played it however, i was pleasantly surprised and would take a spiritual successor / game in this format over a The Evil Within 3 probably.the open world is very Ubisoft in structure (as is usually the case 95% of the time anyways) which wasn't great on paper but the execution here made a massive difference. the setting, use of urban legends, solid to great side quests, and inspired visual direction made the repetitive nature of things barely even register earlier in. while i was going around doing side missions and exploring the map while slowly chipping away at the story content i probably would've given this a 4.
as time goes on you end up left with some less compelling stuff in the open world like a metric shit ton of collectibles across different types. some of them like the relics were fine as they usually came with some kind of interesting flavor text whereas things like the statues, tanukis, or spirits (though those make sense in universe and i wouldn't flat out remove them) are way too numerous and end up being a massive drag. i acknowledge that some people don't have the worms that i do and won't need to factor this in but unfortunately i did.
it wouldn't have been as big of a deal if i hadn't somehow made it to the end of doing pretty much everything but still had to grind out money to purchase the last outfits, magatamas, and songs. without any side quests left i had to resort to looping the map smashing the yellow ether blocks to scrape up enough.
so basically a great experience when doing the side missions and earlier exploration, a lesser but still good experience to see the full story through in the end, and then going for full completion is rancid in spots. not something particularly uncommon or unheard of, i guess.
i didn't get to Spider's Thread at this point but i will years down the line when i return for a replay. the base game missions that came with the expansion were great and among the best in the whole game. wish more of the whole thing leaned into the horror like those did.

Repost from steamGhostwire tokyo is a game that has an amazing start and progressively gets worse and worse as the game goes on. And it increasingly ramps up how much it doesn't respect your time. From fights that seldom ever change. Unengaging boss design, endless collectables and hidden away important upgrades that are needles in a city sized haystack. Lengthy time to level up that rewards increasingly pitiful amounts of skill points needed for upgrades (but finding certain random collectables just give 2 level ups worth no problem! And no worries! no rhyme or reason to how to find them or where. You just kind of randomly come across them!)
Etc etc, I don't really want to talk about this game because it's wasted enough of my time to the point I don't want to waste your time.
Game felt awesome at first. But the constant disrespect of my time that constantly crops up throughout this title makes me want to tell players to avoid it and stay away.

Overall, it's a good game.However... the main story is a cliché.
The combat is fantastic at first glance, but then it gets boring.
The progression system is rubbish, I felt weak even buying the many upgrades the game offers, so there are no rewards for playing and trying to get stronger (so why should we have a progression system?).
The side quests are okay, some of them are good, but most of them are boring, a lot of "go there" "take that" and so on.
** For those who like Japanese culture, there's plenty of it, I really enjoyed walking around the map and seeing things, the curiosity was worth it.
** World and creature design are amazing.
** Fun interaction between the protagonist and his "helper" KK.
Ghostwire: Tokyo has a lot of potential to be a great game, i hope they fix the issues and make the gameplay more attractive.

#GhostwireTokyo may be the first of Bethesda to go into another genre. Gameplay based on Japan's environment. Best gameplay but I can say I barely use the talisman and arrow since it's not needed to kill the enemies. The story and CG are very good tho. Don't think there will be any sequel to the game. But I hope Bethesda is going to make more games like this but with more Minigames in the gameplay maybe? Fun to play overall.Updated 8 Months Ago

On the plus side:- The game looks great and the animation are gorgeous
- The recreation ok Tokyo is really awesome to go around
- The relationship between the main protagonist and his helper his ok
- The myths based monster are pretty good
On the negative side though:
- The gameplay is so shallow and empty, it's just spamming your spells mindlessly
- The game is really easy and boring
- It's on of those open-world game filled to the brim will useless collectibles, so if you like those ubisoft-kind open world you'll probably love this one
- The story is bad, the main protagonist is bland
So to conclude, I think they might have missed the game in the aspect that if it had been a horror game it could have been great but they made an openworld generic action game that lacks any kind of soul or interest

+ Easy to immerse in a highly detailed and good looking city.+ Great atmosphere, interesting enemies and well made scenery/animations.
- The story and characters backgrounds can be confusing or hard to follow.
- Suffers from FPS drops / somewhat poor optimization and bad mouse sensitivity (you can ignore this if play with controller).
Combat is a light show which can be pretty or blinding. You can only block and parry, but a dodge would have been of great help (apparently added in Spider's Thread update).

Beautiful visuals, solid feeling combat mechanics, and a compelling interesting story. The game is constant eye candy and the environments are fun to navigate. The desolate city with constant reminders of its missing inhabitants creates a solid backdrop. The story of both protagonists blend well all the way to conclusion.The combat mechanics feel good and I never felt my ability to play was hampered or the game misbehaved during combat which I find extremely rare.
The only negative I can say about the game is it felt like it lacked a bit of content. A good solid 20 hour game still but I am looking forward for future titles from this studio as they expand their skills.

It's an interesting and new open world...but it's still absolutely jammed with typical open world padding. It's a shame because the story ended up being quite impactful, but it's diluted by the fact that there's five hours of bullshit between every story beat. There are things to collect that take you about three seconds to suck up. If you suck up all of them, you'll have spent over an hour just standing around sucking. That kind of thing. Game doesn't respect your time. The combat is also kinda bland. But there's a kernel of a great game in here.Updated 10.5 Months Ago
