Guess I'll kick it off today:

Absoloot
Acceleration of SUGURI 2
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
Blazing Star
The Last Blade 2
Metal Slug X
God of War (2018)
Minit

Best game this month goes to God of War with Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon coming in at a close second. I probably would have gotten more done this month, but I've also have been devoting a lot of time to my new YT channel, along with dumping a lot of my time to Yakuza 0, Fallout 3, and two weekly D&D groups.

Worst game goes to Absoloot with Acceleration of SUGURI 2 right behind it. Absoloot tries poorly to be Duck Game while having very little variety and none of the charm that Duck Game has while Acceleration of SUGURI 2 is one of the most confusing Fighters/Shoot 'em Up/Bullethell games I've ever played.

Y'know, June wasn't as crazy as I thought it would be... At least game-wise.

669. Runner3 - 6/1 [7/10]
670. Human: Fall Flat - 6/2 [8/10]
671. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon - 6/2 [10/10]
672. Just Shapes & Beats - 6/8 [7/10]
673. Moonlighter - 6/11 [7/10]
674. Full Metal Furies - 6/14 [9/10]
675. Minesweeper Genius - 6/18 [7/10]
676. Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion - 6/22 [9/10]
677. Hook - 6/22 [8/10]
678. West of Loathing - 6/24 [9/10]
679. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit - 6/26 [8/10]
680. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Donkey Kong Adventure - 6/30 [10/10]

Best: M+R Donkey Kong Adventure is such a pleasant surprise. Nintendo's amazing track record of DLC somehow rubbed off on Ubisoft, and this Adventure, coming in at $15, is just as great as the original full game. I loved it, and what's still most surprising is that the rabbid humor actually got me laughing out loud a couple times. Shout-outs to the Octo Expansion and Curse of the Moon. The first provided an excellent campaign that the base game was lacking, and the second was a delightful and surprisingly deep rip-off of Castlevania 3 that got me excited all over again for Ritual of the Night.

Worst: Moonlighter. This simply didn't hook me the way I wanted it to, and I only was able to muster the interest to keep going because I had something to listen to on the side. The art and music are fantastic, but the combat feels too clunky for my taste, and the dungeons and main gameplay loop are too repetetive and shallow.

In July I'll probably be checking out Moss, Mothergunship, Octopath Traveler and Wario Ware Gold.

Star Wars (GB)
06-10
The Guy Game (PS2)
06-19
Dr. Muto (Xbox)
06-27
Brooktown High (PSP)
06-28
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (PS2)

Replays

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS2)
Donkey Kong 64 (N64)
Mario Party 3 (N64)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
RoboCop Versus The Terminator (Gen)

Best: Metal Gear Solid 2. When I played MGS3 last year, I was less then impressed and it really turned me off from playing any of the other 3D titles. So going from the best game to the worst game, I was hesitant. Turns out I like Metal Gear when it doesn't have survival elements to it. Now I want to play the other games to see what makes everyone think this is the worst.

Worst: Take your pick. Either The Guy Game for being a very uninteresting quiz game once you take the boobs out or Dr. Muto for being a bad collectathon. Both were boring and both are things that I probably wont play again.

Biggest Surprise: Brooktown High. I bought this game to expand my collection last year and didn't expect to play it for long. It also didn't help that I had to buy a 1GB memory stick to save anything, and I didn't feel like doing that for only one game. After playing it, I found it kinda enjoyable. A fairly easy dating sim with characters that I don't hate. My major gripe that would keep me from playing it again would be that there's not much to do after you get True Love in the middle of the game aside from keeping your grades and stats up.

Dino Crisis (PlayStation) - June 17, 2018 - 9h 53m - Time at the "End Screen" was 8h 26m 15s. - Normal difficulty. Continues: 0. Saves: 41. Ending 1 achieved.

Just Dino Crisis, I played and playing multiple games, but managed to beat just this.
It is a great Survival Horror game, but tedious at times, because of it's at times cryptic or annoying puzzles (at least for me), there is also a lot of backtracking, but I don't hate backtracking, so that wasn't that much of a problem for me.
It is a bit more complex than it's counterparts at the time, because of it's "mixing" system and such, and it seems a bit overwhelming at first, but you get comfortable really quick and it becomes fun, but still, some of the puzzles and DDKs to unlock doors are a bit tedious.

Uncharted 4 on Crushing would be here as well, but I managed to beat it 30 minutes after midnight, so it goes to July completions next month. :D

04 - Saints Row: The Third
05 ---Genkibowl VII dlc
06 ---The Trouble with Clones dlc
07 ---Gangstas in Space dlc
18 - Unreal Gold
23 - Sacred Citadel
24 ---Jungle Hunt dlc
26 - Sam & Max 301: The Penal Zone
27 - Sam & Max 302: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak
28 - Sam & Max 303: They Stole Max's Brain!
29 - Sam & Max 304: Beyond the Alley of the Dolls
30 - Sam & Max 305: The City That Dares Not Sleep

The Best - Saints Row: The Third. Such an improvement on Saints Row 2, much more refined. Comes at the cost of some gameplay elements but it's mostly worth the sacrifice. It's not GTA but still solid fun nonetheless.

The Worst - The Trouble with Clones dlc. God awful. Checks a lot of annoying checkboxes. Annoying NPCs, missions that are nigh impossible due to poor A.I., unskippable cutscenes and dialogue, otherwise boring, tedious missions trying way too hard to be funny than fun. It's not as low effort as Genkibowl but it's magnitudes worse because they tried.

The Rest - Genkibowl VII is fairly inconsequential while Gangstas in Space is actually pretty good, has the most effort and originality of the 3 Saints Row dlc. Unreal is a very interesting game, clearly ambitious but unfortunately lacks a driving force to keep it entertaining and fighting enemies with the weapons on offer can get become fairly exhausting. Sacred Citadel is a pretty novel and well executed beat em up take on the Sacred series. Suffers from a lack of enemy variety and like most beat em ups it becomes very repetitive over time. The Jungle Hunt dlc there's no real reason why this exists as dlc, feels like content cut from the main game, which it basically is. Sam & Max Season 3 is probably the best TellTale Sam & Max series, just because of the improvements made to it, better textures, audio quality etc. New characters, situations. 303 is the weakest, 302 was my favourite but overall they are all of similar quality which is good but not amazing.

Zone Of The Enders (PS2)
Super Castlevania IV (SNES)
Crash Bandicoot (PS1)

The Good: Final Fantasy IX was a great installment for one of my favorite franchises, and Zone of the Enders was a great Hack and Slash game with super smooth mechanics.

The Bad: The impossible levels on Super Castlevania IV and Crash Bandicoot were a little frustrating, but that was about it. Other than that all the games were really fun and challenging.

A replay of Sleepin Dogs, but this time the definitive edition and all the DLCs. Other then that a lot of shorter games so nice to clear the backlog a bit.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit The free game which will setup Life is Strange 2. Looks kinda interesting. This was very short, but its free so I think everybody who liked the other games in the series to try it out. It doesn't look like it will be a straight sequel from the first game so.

Black The Fall A bit different, from an Romanian developer. Easy side scroller with puzzles in a very, very dark communist country. I actually 100% which wasn't that hard, very short game though.

Owlboy 10/10 in pixel graphics, but I'm a bit disappointed about the gameplay. Its too shallow and simple. I would have liked more flying in open spaces instead of in dungeons. Story is hearth warming though so still worth playing for that.

F-Zero Played this before, but not completing it until now. Still a good game but I don't like how the crashing works in this game, if you crash you can get stuck in a loop of crashing until you blow up which sucks.

Sleeping Dogs: The Year of the Snake DLC - I don't remember much of this, there are more cop like missions so if you like that then this might be cool to try.

Sleeping Dogs: Nightmare in North Point DLC Halloween-esque setting, a lame plot and doesn't add that much.

Sleeping Dogs: Zodiac Tournament DLC - A short fighting DLC, didn't really add that much but they had a cool intro to it.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - Replay, but definite edition for the first time. Still a good game, but its a bit "simple" in some of its missions and the like.

Space Pilgrim: Episode One - Alpha Centauri - PC - June 03
State of Decay 2 - PC - June 10
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine - PC - June 11
Lords of the Fallen - PC - June 14
For Honor - PC - June 16
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin - PC - June 18
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath - PC - June 24
Homefront - PC - June 27

Highs: State of Decay 2, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine and Oddword: Stranger's Wrath. Blood and Wine was probably the best out of the bunch. I really enjoyed State of Decay 2 actually a lot more than I thought I would, I usually don't really get into survival games because I tend to get really frustrated with them. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath I also really liked, it's not an amazing game or anything but I do have a soft spot for all of the Oddworld games.

Lows: Homefront, it's just a really generic military shooter and it doesn't do anything interesting with it's premise.

I completed 4 games and one DLC this month.

6/8 - Rise of the Tomb Raiser - Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch (DLC) (PS4) - 2h 1m
6/9 - Pokemon Y (3DS) - 45h 19m
6/20 - Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) - 20h 47m
6/25 - Metal Gear Solid (PS3) - 13h 41m
6/26 - Star Fox 64 3D (3DS) - 1h 19m

I enjoyed all of these this month. I would say my favorite of this month is Metal Gear Solid, as I really enjoyed the story and stealth in it. It weakest point is the combat, which was a bit clunky, but it does encourage stealth so it was fine for the most part except when you were forced into combat sequences.

My best gaming month in nearly a year! Seriously, this is more games than I've played in the past 12 months combined.

Beat on June...
21 - Catherine
07 - Prison Architect
06 - The Novelist
05 - Lifeless Planet
05 - Little Inferno
05 - Proteus
04 - Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack

Retired on June...
30 - Fatal Frame
05 - Spirits
03 - Sunless Sea

Best is a toss-up between Little Inferno and Mutant Blobs Attack. The former gave me so much to think about, and the latter was just very stylish and fun. Both reminded me of World of Goo. I must like that art style and that kind of 2D physics platformer.

Worst is hands-down Spirits. It's a terrible Lemmings clone. There were aspects of other games that I hated (e.g., combat in Fatal Frame), but Spirits takes the cake. The other one I would absolutely not recommend is The Novelist. It was interesting in a way, but wound up being pretty dull.

Geez, June is over already...

595. Agony (JUN3,2018)

It was looking so promising, completing a game 3 days in. But, I'm still making my way through Pillars of Eternity 2 (this game has WAY more content than the first did) and still playing a lot of multiplayer.

I also think this is an excellent game. Did not play it until last year, even though I've owned a physcial copy for many years. GOG has tried to get ahold of the rights, but the rights holders seem to be completely uninterested.

It is more of a "nobody knows who owns this IP" situation. There are three possible rights holders, Activision, 20th Century Fox, or Warner Bros. and none of them care enough about the series to dig into figuring out who actually owns it. Night Dive, a company that specializes in bringing back older games, applied to bring the game back but that was the brick wall they hit.
