With KerfMerf's permission, I am starting this thread so that you, the HLTB community, can ask questions to be answered on the upcoming HLTB podcast.

The rules are simple: you post your questions here, and before each podcast the best ones will be picked and answered by the hosts.

With 2018 approaching fast it feels right to ask, which upcoming games with a (predicted) 2018 release are you looking forward to or more simply, have any caught your eye?

A fun one that I've noticed confuses a lot of people: Why is my average days to completion so large?
Also: Why are there some games that never disappear from the 'include only games I haven't imported already' option when importing from steam no matter how many times I import them and they get duplicated in my backlog? xD

It might be difficult for us to answer questions about the behind-the-scenes operations of the site because Everdred runs all that himself. If he ever comes on the show as a guest, we'll definitely try to field some of those questions, but for now he can probably answer them best himself in the Site Support threads.

Which aspect of a game is more important to you? Graphics? Gameplay? Story? Competition?.

What do you consider the ideal gaming setup? By which I mean, in terms of location, equipment, time, etc.

With 2017 coming to a close, which games did you enjoy the most?

Do you have any particular strategies for preventing your backlog from growing? If so, what are they?

I wanted to ask something about retirements but could not decide on a single question. So just pick up the one/ones you think are best:

-When do you retire a game?

-What can a game do for you to retire it immediately? (even though you where enjoying it thus far)

-What do modern/older games do that make you want to retire them?

Do you own any games which you don't "count" as part of your backlog, despite them having a clear end point? For example, I don't count any of the games I get automatically through PS+ unless I actively start playing them.

I do the same thing with my PS+ games as I try to keep my backlog the games I've bought or received as gifts so I can focus on them first, although I have a few free ones in there I know I am going to definitely play at some point.
