Thought I'd open up this discussion, since I've been thinking about it for awhile.
I really enjoy playing some flash games because I think they can be very experimental and try new things, but at the same time, they can also be very limited or just very derivative. And I always feel weird logging them onto the site... I mean, they're interactive experiences after all, and we're trying to make a large database here, so I think they certainly have a place... but when I look at the stats and see I'm in the top 15 for most completions, and nearly 40 of my entries are browser games less than 30 minutes long, it makes me feel weird. Since I noticed that, I've been limiting the browser games I play down to the more experimental ones... I would consider those more "worthwhile," I guess.
Maybe I'm overthinking this. But if you guys have any thoughts, feel free to share!

DON'T FEEL BAD/WEIRD about playing short games! It's not just browser games that can be extremely short & derivative. This could apply to any console.
Here's your original post slightly modified:

You're near the top because you play a lot of short games and put them all in. I can't find the link, but there are yearly contests/conferences where developers make 1000 short games in a weekend or something. If you happened to complete them all, let's say it would oly take you a week, but you'd be #1 on the site if you submitted a time for every one. But think about how NeoJ (current #1) might feel about that. He might just say, well I can beat those games too, and then he's 1000 games ahead of you again because he's incredible like that.
Think about it like you're just giving us gamers more information about things to play. You're not stat-mongering! :)
P.S. I used to think flash games were all crap until I played a good one, Pico's School. It was just as good as any PC or console game I had played before. Today things are even more advanced. The kids in my video game club are pretty poor and play these super-elaborate browser games like City of Steam. Browser games are games too! https://www.r2games.com/

I think browser games should be added to the database because it's a way to know more games that you can play to distract you for 30 minutes to 1 hour (not talking about the world's hardest game that's just awfull xD), but in my opinion they shouldn't be put together in the completion next with games that take a large amount of time, i am not the one to talk because i have some in my completion but if i can i would like to suggest a browser completion box to flash games, i am relatively new to this site but i like it a lot so i am just suggesting something new to all the members cause i want to help any way possible.
Let me know what you think about this ideia :)

I also mostly stick to the more unusual or experimental ones, but that's more because those are the ones I'm usually interested in, not because I have any problem playing whatever I feel like or adding an entry for a ten minute game to the site. If it's a hundred million dollar AAA game or some weird, free, artistic Twine interactive fiction thing, it doesn't really make much difference to me as long as there's something about it that grabs my attention to make me try it in the first place and then holds my interest until I finish. My main issue is actually that web browsers are still an awful way to run software like that (and even if they get better, I'd prefer to run things outside my browser than inside it, given the choice), despite how far they've come, but that's a different matter entirely. Otherwise, games are games.

I personally really like playing mostly multiplayer browser games, or rage games while talking with friends or things like that. Usually its the people I play with, along with the game itself that makes the game enjoyable, and doing it by myself or with randoms just isn't as good.

This is how I felt when logging Atari games that take less than 20 seconds to beat. But... it is the site's function to have these times.

I don't really add browser games, but I don't add very many games to begin with. Personally I don't think you should limit the browser games you submit unless it's only five or so minutes. With that said, there are some notable browser games that definitely deserve to have times submitted.

I read the forumthread as bowser games :P
I think all games should be here, so I have no problems with that :)

Yeah, browser games should be submittable. I never play them though because I feel like if I start, that's a whole internet full of more games that will last me forever. I want to have the illusion that I have a finite backlog that I have some hope of completing one day.
