PS5 Project Q (Wii U controller)

It's hard to say that I'm 'excited' for it, but I feel like I'm the only person on the internet that kinda like the thing. If it's cheap enough, why not? I have to be honest, my switch rarely leaves the house and I'm playing it portable all the time.



Thoughts?

To be honest, I'm not sure. I already have a Switch, and I typically play it on my TV. The earbuds look pretty cool though.

Because you can already achieve (almost) the exact same result for free. With the PS Remote Play app, you can stream games to smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. The only difference is you don't have a bisected DualSense unceremoniously sandwiched on either side of the screen like a pair of gangrenous elf ears.

I'm not one to tell anybody how to spend their own money, but I just can't imagine how cheap would be cheap enough to justify this.

yeah I don't see the appeal either... but I still have my Vita for any mobile needs, and I rarely have mobile needs =)

Knowing Sony, that thing will probably be expensive. I used to play my console on a TV back in the day, and I just don't get the appeal of streaming my games on a small screen with half a DualSense glued on both ends.

For me it's a useless device. You still have to install games on your PS5 and you also have to be in your house (it can only stream games with Wi-Fi). Why would you buy this? The only case I can think of is that there is only one TV in your household and someone else is using it when you want to play.

I just hope this thing gonna flop and will make Sony come to senses.

I might be interested on that as well. lol I use remote play from time to time. If it can make the experience more stable and the price is closer to a controller with just a little extra for the screen, I would get it. It will probably be overpriced tho.

Same; I'll buy it if it is cheap. If not, I will stick to playing my PS5 on my TV.

Just make a Vita 2, goddamn.
