What's Old Is Even OlderNot much more to say about these ones; however, it's nice to see Mega Man 9 and 10 receive meaningful preservation efforts. If you don't blast through it all at once, the package is a healthy mixture of the Classic series' pubescent stages and its desire to maintain it's youth.
+ Reworked assist features such as Checkpoint Saves makes for a more ethical playthrough experience
- Lacking content otherwise; fewer games of varying qualities and underwhelming additional game modes

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 It's a nice compilation of Mega Man 7 to Mega Man 10, but it still has the flaw of being a hardcore, pixel-perfect, demanding game. Sadly, although there was some innovation in Mega Man 7 and 8, they came back to the old formula with the two last games. The game is fine to experience older times and is less repetitive; it is a 6.5/10.Updated 7 Months Ago

Great collection, less games than collection 1 and no rewind feature but a fantastic group of games. Has 2 of my favorite MM Classic Games on it. Also cool art rewards and time trials.Updated 2.5 Years Ago

This compilation is a big step back from the first Legacy release. The Museum/Database is lackluster, the checkpoint instead of save state is obnoxious, and the lack of rewind is disappointing. All of these are really a problem coming on the heels of the first collection doing it so much better. On the other hand, extra armor mode is awesome and welcome, for someone not looking for the challenge so much as the nostalgia. The controls are also a bigger problem. I play on a docked Switch with a pro controller. The first Legacy had a few points where there was noticable input lag, but nothing insurmountable (esp with rewind). This set has been far harder, in particular the snowboarding in MM8. I replayed the first snowboarding segment over and over for about an hour, before undocking and playing in handheld with joycons, getting through on the first try.
Overall, this set is ok but disappointing and frustrating in ways that it shouldnt be.
On the other hand, the issues are mostly with MM7 and MM8. 9 and 10 are very playable without much issue on the Switch collection.

Worst than the first collection.Mega Man 7 and 8 are really bad.
In Mega Man 9 and 10 it's an odd decision to remove the ability to slide from Mega Man's moveset, but let Proto Man do that.
But, the nostalgia is phenomenal. The music of 9 and 10 is just awesome.

Once again, i love mega man games, 7 and 8 were utmost perfection, i have run through them several times. 9 and 10 were my first true tries at these games, that being said. The music and level design is great, i love all the twists and turns they gave you, but 9 had so many instances of guaranteed deaths, pit and spike falls that it became a nuisance at times. 10 was way more easier, and i enjoyed the silly additions of the baseballman and sheep man boss enemies, the music was also enjoyable. It really helps that all dlc is unlocked when you beat a game, so now i can use bass in part 10. My kids and myself are enjoying the boss rush, and challenge modes. Onto the first legacy collection now.Updated 5.5 Years Ago

Especially next to the first Mega Man Legacy Collection’s six games and nicer save system, The Mega Man Legacy Collection 2’s package of four included games is ultimately a step backward. While the games are mostly good, none of them top Mega Man 2 or 3 -- and for the record, I think 3 is the best. 8, 9, and 10 are worth revisiting for a dose of retro platforming challenge, but know what you’re up against going in.Updated 7 Years Ago
