As much as people love to clown on Fortnite, it's actually a really good game. The only thing that brings it down is the playerbase, but that's every game these days. Peeps love to exploit shiz. I tried the game around S6, but the building aspect never clicked with me. Post introduction of zero-build, everyone I've played with has gotten hooked. The player-created modes/playlists and festival/racing will also keep you occupied forever; It's really a mixed bag.The recent changes with the movement rework and all haven't sat right with me, but I still log on every now and then to play a few matches with my fiance.

Been playing Fortnite since Season 2 about seven years ago. I'm always on and off nowadays, but Fortnite provided some of the best gaming memories I have in recent years. You get the competition side of things plus the interactive part where you can play with friends for countless hours. My opinions change every season and Epic Games is absolutely to blame for quite a bit of the head scratching moves they have made. However, overall, I always enjoy playing Fortnite and I don't envision completely retiring from it anytime soon.

Pareil, le jeu en lui-même vaut un 7 mais les moments entre amis m'empêchent de ne pas lui mettre la note maximale.

Oh dieu que ce fut un plaisir de pouvoir enfin jouer au jeu en été 2019 sans bug et avec une belle qualité visuelle! Mais ce qui a surtout joué c'est d'y être avec une chère amie, Charlotte, avec qui j'ai passé d'excellents moments dessus même si je suis toujours une bouse.
J'ai continué jusqu'au début du chapitre 3 puis j'ai fait une pause du jeu en arrêtant le passe de combat, puis on est revenu en novembre 2023 en mode chill et avec le mode Lego qui était sympa et depuis c'est occasionnel mais j'apprécie toujours!

The rating of this game varies wildly from season to season. The game is quite old now, I was 13 when this came out and I feel nostalgic about it. However, due to the 7 years worth of updates the game 13 year old me enjoyed no longer exists. For the main battle royale mode I would give a rating of about 60%, This is because my enjoyment is very dependent on the season for example, the OG season was easily a 90% but the new season (Chapter 5 Season 1) is more like a 75%. The reason it's 60% is the rampant botting issue, Epic doesn't want people to get frustrated and leave the game so a lot of the fights you battle are against bots. That said the build mode is nearly unplayable for a casual player, I will shoot someone and see a whole 5 story tower be built, I don't play this game too much and as such the main build mode is a nightmare that consists of 90% building and 10% shooting. Besides the main Battle Royale mode, Fortnite has become a second Roblox using Unreal Engine which add a lot of variety into the game (my favourite is Fort Who, a parody of Guess Who?). Besides the community content Epic also developed Lego Fortnite which is similar to Minecraft / Valheim and Fortnite Festival (my favourite) which is like rock band. These new modes carry the game for me.

Edit: I really hate the FOMO microtransaction model this game uses. I want a few different skins but majority of them were either old battlepass characters or are never put in the shop. For example, I recently got into Metal Gear Solid and the Witcher series. I really want to play the game as Solid Snake or as Geralt of Rivia but I can't since they were battlepass characters and I wasn't interested in Fortnite at the time. Or shop skins like Ciri or Raiden that are solid alternatives that never return to the shop due to Fortnite having hundreds of skins. I really hate this model due to the current season. I feel obligated to play and earn the power armour since I really like Fallout, but this season plays terribly and I don't want to play it.

Fortnite offers a healthy mix between plain shooter and strategy. If you want to play the original "builds" mode, there is a pretty big learning curve, however the depth of the added strategic options is worth it in my opinion.
Epic also manages to keep reinventing the game. The seasons offer good variety, making it worth your while to stick around.
I am also a fan of the laid-back monetization. Yes there are many many ways to spend lots of money on Fortnite, but you absolutely don't have to. There is no pay-to-win at all. Everything is purely cosmetic.

Le jeu en lui même (sur Switch) vaut un 6 mais il a contribué à beaucoup de moments entre amis pour ma part, ce qui monte la note dans mon cœur.

Tux m'y a mis à la sortie du jeu en 2018 sur Switch et je suis juste devenu accro c'est terrible......en même temps jouer en coop avec ses amis pour accéder au top 1 tout en rigolant et en allant plus tard sur des maps customs c'était tellement ouf et pour un 30fps sur switch portable, avoir autant d'heures dessus c'est inouï, nan vraiment Fortnite Battle Royale, il fut certes surcôté mais un très bon jeu somme toute.
J'y ai été de la saison 4 à la saison 9 du chapitre 1, avec un grand nombre de gens et j'y joue encore quand je ne suis pas chez moi. Le seul truc qui fait baisser la note c'est le gameplay à la manette qui est laborieux (surtout n'utilisez pas les joycons où le joycon drift arrivera)

Finally beat the Save the World story and saw the “ending” (although Twine Peaks still remains). The missions in Save the World get a tad repetitive by the end of the story, but it still remains fun all these years later. All the different modes in Fortnite between Battle Royale, Creative, and now Festival, racing and Lego also help keep things fresh.

Simplesmente o jogo que eu mais joguei na vida, não é nada extraordinário mas vai gerar umas boas risadas até se jogar sozinho, mas não pode ser nada sério se não perde a graça, tentem jogar de tudo agora que existem vários modos, corrida lego fortnite, festival estilo guitar hero, se nada te pegar realmente não tem o que fazer, e é de graça, o que você vai perder é tempo, na minha opinião o jogo é bom sim mas a comunidade de crianças engoliu o jogo e hoje ninguém é ruim, mas é pra isso que existe o modo sem construção.

I never thought I'd be saying this, but ... Fortnite is actually a very solid experience. Lots of side-mode content (—fun, varied custom maps; LEGO Fortnite; Fortnite Festival; Rocket Racing; No Build BR—) to keep you coming back, including the seasonal content, battle pass unlocks, & challenges to strive for. The exhilaration of finally winning a Battle Royale after grinding it out time & time again is hard to beat. (Just ... let's not talk about the pseudo-predatory cash shop, alright? At least it's not P2W.)

(Im reffering to Battle Royale in this review not Save the World, which although I have played quite a bit of, not enough to warrant a review)
I have an interesting relationship with this game... I would never call it my favorite game and most of the time I'm not even having that much fun when im playing it, but it somehow keeps me coming back. Addiction? Probably. Although the shock factor has begun to plateau as I've seen everything under the sun get added to this game, its still insane what epic is able to do. Just recently they made an entire Lego survival game which honestly should get its own Howlongtobeat page because of how separate it is from Battle Royale. I'm not entirely sure if I like the direction Epic is taking the game but in the 6+ years I've been playing it, I would definitely say its worth it.

A fun game. Although childish and cartoonish at first sight, it has plenty of perks, such as many different guns and weapons, a gallery full of skins and heroes to choose from and a challenging gameplay for all sorts of players.

I played first in the Chapter 2 Season 6 until I unlocked the skin of Lara Croft from Tomb Raider (the Classic outfit). Season 7 begins with an alien invasion. I started it, trying to go into tournaments but the challenges from opponent players were getting tougher and tougher.

A Royale win (best from 100 players) and multiple other honorable top finishes made me think I could say farewell to this game - at least for now - thinking I done all I wished when I began playing Fortnite.
Not to say the fun hours spent in the game, from early mornings to late evenings.

It is really fun to play with friends but only in zero build. A lot of interesting maps made by community is a big plus. Matchmaking beyond platinum on rankeds is dogshit. Graphics on unreal engine are insane on max details, tbh I have to say this game is just good.

Часто не играю, потому что в ней есть единственный минус - чтобы быть на ПАМПЕ так сказать, нужно играть в эту игру 50 часов в сутки, чтобы просто 1 школьника переиграть, потому что от второго ты полюбому умрешь со спины.

СЮЖЕТ:
Бля, я вам отвечаю, это гении запихнуть СЮЖЕТКУ в БАТЛ РОЯЛЬ. Только блять, чтобы понимать сюжет - нужно выполнять ВСЕ ЗАДАНИЯ, СЛУШАТЬ ОТ ТУДА ВСЕ АУДИО И 30 РАЗ ПЕРЕСМОТРЕТЬ КАЖДЫЙ ИВЕНТ И ОБЬЯСНЯТЬ КАЖДУЮ АНОМАЛИЮ ВНУТРИ КАТКИ. Вот тогда может быть ты поймешь 20 процентов сюжета фортнайт. Есть всякие каналы, которые обьясняют сюжетку фортнайт, но проблема в том, что сюжет то продолжается, и чтобы постоянно обновлять актуальную сюжетную ветку игры - нужно уйму времени. Я надеюсь, что они когда-нибудь дропнут фильм, в котором перескажут весь сюжет, в виде тех самых крутых катсцен, которые мы видим каждый сезон

ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ:
Батл рояль + стройка - очень крутая идея совместить это. На самом деле просто у игры уже была основная версия, где по сути Tower Defense, где ты отбиваешь волны зомби, остраивая ТЕ САМЫЕ ПОСТРОЙКИ. В момент хайпа PUBG - в офис Epic Games прилетела задача КАК МОЖНО СКОРЕЕ ДРОПНУТЬ БАТЛ РОЯЛЬ. Совместили основную версию + батл рояль. Каждый сезон - это постоянно новый гемплей. Даже убрав один предмет из пула катки - мета меняется и геймплей идет совершенно другим темпом. Стрельба рандомая, у нее нет паттерна, просто примерный разброс оружия, это круто. Стройка - для него конечно нужно делать отдельную категорию в этом ревью, потому что это очень глубокая механика, которая разделяется еще на подкатегории (Peace Control, edit и т.д.). Стройка - этот тот самый один удар, который нужно сделать 10.000 раз, чтобы тебя все боялись. Стройка это не просто поставил блок и побежал - это битва ума, потому что ты должен отталкиваясь от ситуации ставить определенные постройки (Бокс, укрепленную лестницу для пуша, туннель для ротейта, постройка вокруг противника, чтобы отредачить и дать в ебало 200). Редакт тоже отдельная тема, потому что этот как и элемент пуша, так и элемент фейка (к примеру когда ты фейкуешь редакт постройки, чтобы сделать дырку и моментально ее закрыть, тем самым заставить противника сделать выстрел и потратить время на анимация и небольную расстерянность).

ГРАФИКА
Мне всегда было похуй на графику, я же майнкрафтер. Чтобы играть в эту игру на победу - ты должен выкрутить настройки на МИНИМУМ. Не только потому что это тебе даст ебанутый буст производительности, но и уберет много отвлекающих элементов, такие как партиклы. Попробуйте на эпиках просто бокс отстроить, когда постройка завершается - вокруг тебя миллион фейрверков, как будто ты ебать достижение нереальное сделал, поставил ебучую коробку, в которой нихуя не видно, я не понимаю в какой части этой ебучей коробки я стою, помогите.
Сейчас, когда игра уже вышла на новую версию Unreal - на эпиках она выглядит шикарно, я пиздец бы каждую катку играл с таким наслаждением. А, стоп, мне же похуй на графику. Ну ладно, с красивой я кайфую, на хуевую мне похуй, если геймплей вывозит. Короче экстаз лютый, эпики молодцы, их же движок, шарят за эту ДВИЖУХУ

СКИНЫ И КОЛЛАБЫ
Вспоминая самые первые сезоны, когда в том же батл пассе была переделка Джона Вика под названием Душегуб - я ловлю дичайший вайб. Потому на то время, даже блять если на унитазе был пиксель, который был в какой-либе другой игре - это уже крутое достижение! Какое же крутое время, когда в игре начали появляться коллабы, первый официальный коллаб, если не ошибаюсь был с Марвел, тогда добавили режим с Таносом и его перчаткой бесконечности. Тогда коллабы были плана: Я ТУТ НА ЧУТЬ ЧУТЬ, ВАШУ ВСЕЛЕННУЮ ОСОБО НЕ ТРОГАЮ, А ПОТОМ СЪЕБУ. Сейчас же конечно супергерои из марвел и ДС - это часть сюжета Фортнайта, которые появляются в батл пассе, а герои фортнайта - в комиксах. Короче что за заварушки с коллабами мне реально похуй, уже вау эффекта не вызывает. Но вот времена КОНЦЕРТОВ ТРЕВИСА СКОТТА И МАРШМЕЛЛОУ. УФФФФФФФФФФ.

В целом спасибо форту за то, что он есть, я люблю этого урода каким бы он не был. Эпик Геймс крутая контора, которая продумавает 20 шагов наперед и двигается только вперед. Да, есть пару хуйни, которую они сотворили (Apple vs Epic Games например), которая отрезала огромное количество игроков и урезала их доход, но в целом молодцы, респект
