I was trying to think of a game I used to play at Wal-Mart. I think it was around 1996 - 1998, my Wal-Mart used to have arcade cabinets of Mortal Kombat and a rotating game. For a while it was a zombie shooter where you used a shotgun. It was definitely NOT Carnevil. You started in front of a giant graveyard gate with a quickly scrolling camera showing you the lay of the land. You could shoot crows and stuff for bonus points. Does anyone have any idea what game this was?

Also please post your own mysteries for us to solve.

I figured it out. It was Zombie Raid:

For some time now I can't remember what was the name of a ps one game where you were in a futuristic (post apocalypse) world. It was an action shooter game, third person view. You were some kind a cyborg, instead of your left eye you had a red laser. I think the game name was just a letter or two and a number, but I'm not sure. It left my collection a long time ago and I can't remember what was it called.

Don't know if this is right but I asked on another forum and this was the answer.

Yes, yes! Thank you. I knew there was a C in the name. Now I have to find it so I can get it again.

I don't expect anyone will be able to help with this one since I only have a VERY vague remembrance of it...

All I remember is that I think it was a PS1 game that took place in feudal Japan. I seem to recall it being open-world... I don't think you were a ninja. Possibly a samurai. I remember walking around on top of buildings and (at least what I remember of it) took place during nighttime. I think I remember a waterfall.

I know that's not very helpful at all, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know!

I can't remember a ps one game where you were in two worlds, physical and spirit and you had to switch between them in the right location to get ahead because two worlds were similar but with key differences. You could switch to spirit world anytime but to go back to physical you had to go to certain checkpoints and in spirit world you couldn't move anything so your weapon would stay frozen in the place where you switched. You also had some sweet moves with a spear (i think you could throw it but then you would be boned cause you no longer had a weapon and if you missed or more enemies came before you got it back you were in trouble). I remember that the game had a reputation for being extremly hard. I've only played it for a short time and I would like to find it.

Your description sounds just like Soul Reaver, but that seems too obvious.

I've checked it out and I think that's it. It was so long ago that I forgot about it.
