I found this lovely e-mail in my inbox today. 50% off Interplay classics that were already pretty cheap: https://www.gog.com/promo/interplay_weekend_promo_120413?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=game_subject&utm_campaign=interplay_weekend_promo_120413
I love Interplay but don't know all these games. Are there any that I simply MUST play if I haven't? I'm thinking of getting Fallout Tactics, Earthworm Jim 3D, and Messiah. Already beat Fallout 1&2.

Descent is one I have wanted to try it came highly rated to me by some old friends on another forum that has since disappeared. I don't know a lot of the other games listed. I also heard of Invictus but don't know much about it. The Fallout games and Earthworm Jim games are well know, but I've never played them either. Great prices, I'll have to say. Not being familiar with that site are those all for PC? I would assume so.

It's a good ol' site for good ol' games. When you buy one, you can download the .exe for that game right onto your PC. No hassle of playing through Steam and patching a million things. They all work for PC and some work on Mac.

I played Sacrifice a decade ago, it was quite fun. I still have it. As I remember you were a wizard dude that chose which gods he wishes to follow and got different spells from different gods. I would say it's definitely worth 5 bucks if you like magic rts games. I remember last level being really difficult.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto is kind of neat, or at least it was pretty impressive when it was new. It hasn't aged super-well, but it's still kind of fun. Descent and Freespace are good stuff if you're into that sort of thing. I've heard Shogo's decent too, but I've never played it myself. And of course what everyone else said about Earthworm Jim and Fallout (although Tactics is the weakest of them, but if you've played the others and really want more, go nuts).
As far as GOG itself goes, they're great. They have the same parent company as the guys who make the Witcher games, they have great community support and involvement, and their releases of games are always DRM-free and generally patched to run on modern OSes with a bunch of extras included. Really the worst thing I can think of to say about them is that they don't sell every game I want from them yet.
