Help me pick my 500th game to beat... and I will donate to charity!

I just completed my 499th game, the incredible Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and I'm wondering what game to play to make my 500th.

So to help me decide, I thought I might make it a fun interactive exercise and involve all you lovely people, my fave gaming community on the interwebs!

I'd like people to choose one PS4* game from my backlog, post its name, and (if you like) a brief paragraph about why you think I should play it. It doesn't have to be a game you like, or have even played, but it would be good to see some firm recommendations.

However, the selection of the 500th game will be a lottery - in a week's time, on 27th January 2021, I will use a random number generator to choose a post number, and will play the game mentioned in the post to completion. So to keep it simple please refrain from general chat and commenting on other people's suggestions here!

I will then donate to the Special Effect charity**, to the tune of UK £1.00 (US $1.36) for every person who takes part, up to the total number of PS4 games I have in my backlog (30). Special Effect is a UK-based charity providing specialist gaming equipment, as well as related advice and support, to those with physical disabilities.

Also, the 'winner' whose post has been selected will received a special HL2B tag that says BOUGHT, with the mouseover text of "I bought this tag with JernauGurgeh's money" - very many thanks to Everdred for negotiating this reward via PM! If you've already got a tag, or don’t want one, then you'll just have to make do with a big virtual hug from me, probably in the form of a cat-based GIF.

EDIT: I removed Life is Strange: Before the Storm from the list as it's not recommended to play that before the original game. I've replaced it with Wuppo, which I had forgot to add to my backlog when I bought it.

Some notes:

* I'm restricting it to unbeaten PS4 games, as my PS3 is currently at a friend's house, and I don't feel like sitting at my computer to play games at the moment due to homeworking fatigue.

** I was originally going to donate to HL2B, but Everdred said I should donate to a charity of my choice instead. What a great guy :)

*** To increase the size of my backlog, I'm pulling out of retirement several of the better PS4 games that I previously played but didn't give enough of a chance.

**** Whilst running this 'event', I'll put on hold all games I'm currently playing, except Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which I don't anticipate completing for quite a while!

From those, I only played S;G0 and Child of Light. S;G0 does not deserve to be the 500th.

Oh, that's really good to hear Everdred. Many thanks for the suggestion. I'll think of a suitable charity and add it in the OP.

Is there any way to edit the post title to reflect that? I can't see how to do that myself.

I haven't played any of these but I do have Life is Strange in my wishlist and I have heard very good things about it so that's my pick.

Far Cry 4 is the best in the series imo so that'll be my choice you lovely person.

This is a lovely idea. I'm gonna say try out Yoku's Island Express. That game is such a joy and does some really clever things with its mechanics. I mean, who'd have ever thought we'd have a Metroidvania Pinball based game?!

I haven't played any of these games, but from your list I would probably pick Inside. That game looks deliciously dark & atmospheric

My pick is Divinity: Original Sin simply cause its approaching my next pick and I want someone else to suffer through the massive runtime too lol

Prey and Yoku's Island Express are both phenomenal... which explains why they have already been picked!

Of the games left to be nominated, I will nominate Mirror's Edge: Catalyst.

I nominate Kingdom Come: Deliverance, even though you've started it - there's enough in that game that I'm sure you'll have a lot to do if you focus on it =)
