Your first game of 2021?

What's the first game you have completed or will complete in 2021?

I started Sniper Elite 4 on the 1st of Jan and completed it on the 5th. Easily the best game in the series, and a good way to start the year.

Are you starting the year off with a great game, or are you getting a less enjoyable game out of the way first?

I finished Unravel first. It was great. What'll happen next after that I have no idea.

I finished Thomas Was Alone and it was one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. I'm working on Killzone but I might beat Mortal Kombat just to break up the monotony of Killzone.

I'm going to finish Kirby: Triple Deluxe on the 3DS soon. School and end of semester exams are only allowing me to play an hour a day, but I should finish soon.

Scribblenauts on the DS. It was an alright experience to the start of the year.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd

Fantastic end to the Trails in the Sky trilogy.

Storm VR for me. The first PCVR game I played in general.
A pretty decent little survivial puzzle game that was supposed to work as the first episode in a series, but it's been 5 years now and nothing came of it from what I can tell. Bummer.

the first game I beat this was was Sackboy: A Big Adventure for the PS5, it's a really solid platformer.

Sniper Elite 4 on PC

I've recently tried to find some single player narrative driven games where you could play the decisions in a co-op game and see it as a movie to play with wifey. We've recently finished Until dawn, Man of Medan and Little Nightmares!

We're heading together for Little Hope and i'm trying to finish Immortals Fenyx Rising ! :)

Just finished Unravel. It's the kinda wholesome game I needed to start 2021 with. Got stuck a few times but I'm not the best with puzzles

The Wolf Among Us. Gotta admit Telltale shit is pretty fun

I have yet to complete a game so far but the first one will probably be either BioShock or Borderlands 2, since I am a pretty long way from finishing Persona 4 Golden.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.4 (i.e. the December update).

I started it after I broke my leg but it was impossible to be comfortable sat at a desk for more than 10 minutes so I didn't play that much of the main scenario update. I could do small sections of the story but doing anything consequential or the dungeon or instanced solo battle would have been impossible as I play on PC. When I was able to sit comfortabely I was able to finish the MSQ in maybe 3 sessions so I could rest my leg between them.

Finished Killing Floor Incursion the 1st of January, and tbh It was a bit of a letdown :(

I beat Crowtel Renovations on the 1st. It was pretty fun, though not a game I think I'll be tempted to play again, despite its short length (just shy of 1h, and that's including both "campaigns")
