Pros:The ending I got was quite a novel idea and fit well into the game's themes. I also enjoyed the puzzle-solving aspect of the game, making your way through the ship. However I do think that the memory access codes could've been introduced at some point because, to my knowledge, they just appeared at one point.
Neutral:
Event[0] has a pretty good story with a lot of mystery and intrigue. I think the twist no matter how obvious that Kaizen was evil and not helping you wasn't built up enough. It could be that I missed the foreshadowing or that it simply went over my head, but I did read almost all the data logs, so there can't be that much that I missed. I also tried to get multiple endings from my last save, but maybe I needed to have done something else differently because I couldn't seem to get any of the other endings.
The main selling point of the game was the AI Kaizen you could talk to. It was nice, but it wasn't all that impressive in the end. There were a couple of times you had to convince the AI of something, but it felt more forced and the AI's responses felt janky at times.
Cons:
In one section of the game I was bashing my head against the wall trying to find an item and the AI refused to give any meaningful clues, I spent over half an hour on that puzzle alone and I was even considering just looking up where it was. To the AI's credit, however, it gave me plenty of useful clues for previous puzzles.

This game has a cool concept but it is a bit cut short. The AI on paper sounds cool but the execution is not consistently good. Although it had its moments... I'd like characters to be more fleshed so story would make more sense and the motives of characters could've been explained betterUpdated 8 Months Ago

AI didn't respond to anything other than basic commands so I assumed it didn't allow more complex conversation then got stuck because of thisUpdated 11.5 Months Ago

It's like a text adventure in a 3D environment. You can not interact with the environment directly, only type whatever you want to do to a AI driven terminal, and it may or may not comply depending on how you ask it. Story is okay, gameplay is okay, but I loved the idea. I hope we get to see more text adventures in 3D environments, maybe even a fantasy themed one. I think you should check this out if you like space/sci-fi theme and/or old school text adventures.Updated 1 Year Ago

An interesting story with some minor puzzle solving. I do like the interface with the computers, however the mouse for movement was not as precise as I would have liked. Not too long, and doesn't really overstay its welcome.I had a hard time getting one specific story event to trigger, but otherwise I didn't experience any issues. On a single playthrough though I think the game leaves a lot of open questions. Perhaps they would be answered if I played a few more times- there are apparently several endings, but I don't really have any desire to play again. Overall OK, glad I got it on a good sale though.

Overall it was a decent little game, but it was interesting that your character literally can't do anything except walk to terminals and have the terminals do things for them, such as open doors, etc. Through the various terminals logs the story is slowly revealed as you work your way through the space station. It took awhile to get going in the game as it doesn't explain really what you should be doing or what's going on when it starts. That was annoying.
The PROs:
- Graphics and environment were fairly well done.
- It does have multiple endings depending on some of the choices you make in the game.
The CONs:
- Unsure where to go or what to do at times. Especially early on in the game.
- In a lot of ways it's basically a "walking simulator" as you can only interact with terminals. That's it.
The game took me 3.9 hrs to complete.
Overall it's nothing great, but it is decent. 7 out of 10.

Event[0] is a clever mix between a chatbot and a walking game. Some dialogues are canned, and the game is too short, but the empathy you'll develop with the AI and the retrofuturistic sytle are perfect.Updated 6.5 Years Ago

Very enjoyable game! I just wish it was a bit longer (otherwise I would've given it 80%), but it sets out to achieve what it wanted to do, and then some. I did really enjoy chatting with Kaizen-85, but the space walking was my favorite part of the game (as well as being by far the most difficult part). It's a game that really makes you think. Does an AI have feelings? Can an AI suffer? I'm really glad I played this.I played this as a Let's Play on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUgr6zVzebDOLd3WYM0G5iTeVwdYVILwa
