How many hours have you put into your most played game?

This thread was originally only going to be about the most played games in general but I decided to name a game for each category.

My most played game by far is Super Smash Bros Ultimate with 640h. I've just played it a lot with family and friends.

The game I played the most that I've beaten is Teardown with 124h 18m. I've played 20h after I beat it. Otherwise, the 1st place would go to Omega Ruby with 109h and 42m.

My most played game that is in the backlog is Hitman 3 with 99h 2m.

Lastly, the game I played the most, which I retired is Hitman (2016) with 100h 42m. I retired it because I got Hitman 3, which has all the content that Hitman (2016) has through DLC.

I'm looking forward to how much everyone else has played their most played games!

I don't really have a list for playing category. I either complete or retire games or put them back into backlog. And I don't play a lot of endless/multiplayer games.
Although I've put 50h into Digital Combat Simulator World and will probably at some distant point in the future put some more into it (can't keep it installed, literally fills hard diskS).

Too hard, couldn't beat it and lost interest.

2. Monster Sanctuary 32h31m
This one stings because I enjoyed the game and found every single fight very easy until up to close to the end when a boss fight with a constantly healing enemy made me throw in the towel. That difficulty spike was frustrating as hell.

3. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries 29h14m
Lost interest, not that great of a game in my opinion.

Backlog (games I played, but for one reason or another put back into backlog in hope of continuing one day)
1. Fallout: New Vegas 12h56m
It constantly crashed but that's not really the reason I backlogged it. I just didn't feel it at the time.

Probably this should go into retired. I've tried twice to get into it and couldn't.

3. Return of the Obra Dinn 2h15m
I should really give this another go.

Depending on how you count it, either Mobius Final Fantasy at 180h, or Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked at 160 57m. The former took 19 more hours, but that time is approximate, and given the structure of the game, I'm not really sure it's as easy to count as a full game. I did love it, though. Release an offline version, Square-Enix, you cowards. (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is also in spitting distance at 160h 19m.)

Of course, this is just according to my completions. I wouldn't be surprised if we never saw Denise Richards again I've put more than 180h in Bayonetta all told.

By far the most hours I have in a game is The Witcher 3 at around 185 hours, thats counting both DLC and finding every treasure and undiscovered locations. I play alot of JRPGs so its not abnormal for a game to take me 60-80 hours but lately ive been trying to clear alot of the smaller <30 hr games out of my backlog.

685 hours on TF2 and I'm still playing

Final Fantasy XIV is by far my most played game in terms of hours. getting an accurate total from that would be impossible as the in game timer will be filled with idling.

I don't think I've spent over 100 hours on anyother game, at least since I started recording times. Hitman 3 is in the 90s. MGSV was in the 80s, but some of this was idling for R+D timers so I don't count that. I think I spent 80 odd on one of the Disgaea's.

I have too many games too play to spend huge sums of time on single player offline games so even RPG's tend to be under 50 hours. Horizon FW is the only recent exception. Hitman was done over 11 months but I've hardly touched it in over 6 months and actually deleted it to make sure I played more games that needed playing. .

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is sitting at 1290h right now and it keeps adding up as it remains my No. 1 casual go-to game for cozy Tainted Lost Hard runs.

Most played game, likely World of Warcraft but I don't know what my /played time was from my last session with it a few years back.

Otherwise, according to Steam its: PUBG = 1,398.8h, followed up by Team Fortress 2 = 905.3h

And most time put into a "retired" game. Defiance = ~111h, it was a real guilty pleasure. Following that it's Beyond Divinity = ~26h since I retired it right at the final boss. I'll have to replay it at some point and remedy that methinks.

I play a lot of long games. There are also just a few games that I've happened to play for a long time.

Animal Crossing New Leaf is over 500 I think. I also have some replayed games that I'm sure are up there but I have no idea what kind of hour counts would be there.

My time in Trails in the Sky SC is over 400 now according to Steam, and while I'm almost finished my fourth playthrough, there is also idle time in there. All my collective times in each of the Trails games are over 100 or over 200.

World of Warcraft, FF14, GW2, Warframe, League of Legends, and Minecraft are all games I have thousands of hours in.

Endless games I'm usually able to clock in over 100hrs relatively quickly. Honestly there are too many to even list.

I think my highest single player game might be Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but I really don't know.

If we include multiplayer games then my most played games are League of Legends (anywhere between 1000 and 1200 hours), World of Warships (>900 hours) and Team Fortress 2 (~300 hours). However, I've mostly stopped playing all three of them (and in the case of the first one, severely regretted the amount of time I wasted on it).

If we're talking just single-player games then my most played are Persona 4 Golden (144 hours in the save file, 181 hours in total due to frequent crashes), Fire Emblem: Three Houses (143 hours, which go up to ~151 if we include the Cindered Shadows DLC) and Persona 3 (~178.5 hours) if I were to pool together playtime across all versions (FES + The Answer + Portable).

Got about 3.5K hours in League of Legends. Nothing else should be even close to that.

Cyberpunk 2077 ~150hr (split into different saves and different platforms)
The Last of Us 2 ~100hr (speedruns -practice etc)
Elden Ring ~80hr

Also, I used to play a specific pro evolution when I was a kid for many years, don't have the exact numbers but it was definitely more than 200hr.

280 in acnh and 200 in stardew valley.

I don’t know how many hours I put in either Call of Duty MW3 or Black Ops 2 when I was in high school so they could have more but I know I put at least 240 hours into Pokémon Diamond back in the day.

Probably Runescape 2 back when I was a kid, I don't have the words to describe how many hours I spent on it (not to mention the IRC+forums related to the game).

For a second I guess it's Counter-Strike. Steam says 1997 hours for Source, 2614 hours summing up 1.6 + Source + GO. It's been a really long time since I've played it.

For single-player games, maybe Monster Hunter Tri/3U. I had three save files for three different systems (Wii, 3DS, Wii U).

Over the last 6 years, I have put in around 1673 Hours into Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum Edition. No other game that I own has anywhere near as many hours

According to my stats, my most played game into which I put 211 hours is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which included 100% completion of the main story and the Dragonborn expansion.

However, that’s just one character build, an OP jack-of-all-trades… I’ve actually played at least another 100 hours on three other builds, in which I more specifically role play as a Nord swordswinger, a Dunmer mage, and a Bosmer archer.

I may have possibly played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion even more, but never really recorded my times back in the day.

Rocksmith 2014 - 595h 10m on my the PS3 before I moved to the PS4 version. The PS4 version I have played 116h 08m

Therefore I've played 711h 18m of Rocksmith 2014

my most played game of all time has to be swat 4, i played the game every day at least 3 hours and that for 10 years, the hours is not viewable sadly has i used to use X-fire.

The most i can measure has to be the dragon age and mass effect franchise both franchise has more then 2 a 3000 hours

I went extremely hard on FFXIV when A Realm Reborn came out, and stopped playing somewhen near the end of Heavensward. Dumped so much time into the game that it negatively impacted a lot of other areas in my life, but oh well. About ~2000 hours when I stopped I think.

Then got hooked on Monster Hunter World a few years later, with about ~1500 hours.

Inbetween played Eve Online hardcore for somewhere around 1500-2000 hours.

Next up would probably Heroes of the Storm, but no clue how much time I spent on it. I'd reckon <500 hours.

Since then I've been trying to dodge games that hook me too hard :D Sticking to mostly Singleplayer games these day.

I've put in around 300 hours for forza motorsport 4 over nearly 11 years.
But I have put in 322 hours for skylanders giants over nearly 10 years ( It's my favourite game of all time ).
The game I've put the most time into is minecraft at 714 hours.

Dark Souls 4 it took 83h to finish it
