I checked the differences between Dark Souls Remastered and the original Dark Souls and, apparently, there's no extra content related to the story.

I think that's comparing the base game only. All 3 games mentioned include DLC in the remastered versions (Artorias of the Abyss in the case of Dark Souls).

Good catch! I totally forgot about the DLC since I couldn't go through it during my playthrough.

The Last of Us Remastered
Left Behind DLC included.

Dark Souls Remastered
Artorias of the Abyss DLC included.

Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered
Looks like no additional content so I will merge it.

Don't forget we also have a dedicated Data Merging, Separation & Removal Mega Thread

Yep, you're right. It has three expansion packs included. Thank you!

Just ignore them. Eventually they'll give up.

Or make another alt, one of the two.

That's also what this site is for.

Since you quoted the front page yourself, you must have seen this:

He's not even American...

Anyway Chez, you've lost rights. And broke the Code of Conduct:

Do Not:
- Post about Religion or Politics unless related directly to video games, there are other sites for that.
- Threaten, stalk, insult, victimize or intimidate anyone (or group of people) for any reason.

The site is also tell people how long collections take to beat... Who is playing TLOU Remastered and not playing Left Behind too?? People often play DLC at the same time as the base game, so knowing how long TLOU Remastered is makes quite a bit of difference.

Not to mention games like The Witcher 3 GOTY which has two sizable expansions included.

Huh, wha? What's the connexion?

I mean, why do you care so much about backlogging and collections and stuff when you don't have a single game in your collection yourself?

Just do yourself a favour and go away.

Hah! Well, I'm one who does play all the DLC for games most of the time, so it's good to know how long a game REALLY takes. Though TBH, I don't actually trust the collection times. For an example: Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and Diamond don't quite add up to what Neverwinter Nights and its expansions/premium modules add up to. Heck, if you look at the EE description, it says it contains "100+ hours" of content, but none of the weighted averages are 100+ hours, compared to the other entries which do. I think it comes down to collections getting fewer records, so they aren't as accurate.

Also @Everdred: I like the new "Quoted Post No Longer Exists" labels! Much nicer than the old ones :)

Some games add the dlc to the main game, for example Assassins Creed 2 just sticks them on the map/puts the starter NPC’s amongst the crowd. It’s quite easy to play them “by accident”. I think Horizon does the same, although it has a higher level than the other quests when you first reach its availability.

Not all DLC is clearly flagged or obvious.

I see. So, when a remaster includes the DLC, a new entry is justified. I don't agree with that (becauses that DLC can already be found on the database, it's not "new content"), but that explains some of the inconsistencies I refered to.

With that in mind, should Silent Hill 2: Inner Fears, Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut and Silent Hill 2 HD have their own specific entries? Those games tried to add some technical improvements over the original and included the "Born From a Wish" extra chapter (which was not sold separately, as far as I know).

Release date is now based on ORIGINAL release (earliest).

Presumably this also means that where games are separated by years for disambiguation, those years should now be the original year not the western release year?

I don't have any examples of this beyond the modern version of Yu-No saying 2019 instead of 2017, but I've listed that for merging anyway. There certainly are other examples so I'll sumbit them as they come up.

Yeah, I flagged every single title in the data base for an update. So everything should be using the original date.

Be careful about the wording if implemented, I'd hate to see @Cock caught in the crossfire...
