For those who did Eventide Island, how did you choose to deal with the Hinox.

Have you done Vah Naboris already and obtained Urbosa's Fury? Her ability made it a lot easier to deal with that Hinox. Other than that, I remember spamming bombs while running around after I didn't have any weapons left. That may take some time, but it worked out eventually.

Nope, only completed the Rito and Zora regions. I also did the bomb method. Twice. A thunder blob ended many of my runs. By the time I finished it I was just so done that I shot right up that final mountain with Gale. I probably spent about 3-4 hours there. I feel a little less silly knowing that someone else did the bomb method....

Turns out this is an easier way to do it. I'm rather upset that I didn't try this.

Aw damn, that sounds rough. Eventide Island really is one of those shrines that can turn out to be super frustrating to solve. The blood moon coming up is truly infuriating, that would've been my last straw personally. Sorry to hear that you had to endure so many attempts :(

I'm pretty sure that I'm playing more "wrong" than you did. 😅 66 hours in and the other day someone told me what button to press to lock on. And out of pure stubbornness I attempted certain towers probably way too early in the game.

But I still climbed them. HA.

Know what? It's not "wrong". It's called beating a challenge and I'm sticking to that story. 😤

Thank you! My longest Zelda completion so far. I may go back to do more side quests at some point, but not right now. Tarry Town sounds interesting and I’m missing a Great Fairy.

I'm sorry for the same answer so many times, the page had gotten stuck and it wouldn't let me comment, going back to Zelda, as I said, excellent game, I haven't even explored half of the map yet, there are so many things to explore that I don't even know why. where to follow
