I have finished only one game in June, but it was a meaty one:

Total War: Warhammer 3 - As great as the second game, even better perhaps. You still kinda need the previous game and maybe some of the DLC to really get the full package, but if you do, the variety is unrivaled.

I worked 64 hours the last week of June, so not a lot of time went into the backlog. A cozy 4 makes last months completions:
• Castlevania Legends (Jun 2)
• Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge (Jun 11)
• Doom 2016 (Jun 15)
• Sonic and the Black Knight (Jun 16)

Was surprisingly busy through June and didn't have much time to play games. However was at least able to beat the GotM:

26th June - The World Ends With You - 21h 51m 21s

Ranking
1st - The World Ends With You - Unique and fun JRPG which is hampered by poorly tutorials and lack of information in combat

Well, I'm finally back from moving to Coquitlam and I only managed to really play one game last month, a mod in fact.

Quake: Beyond Belief (PC, 0610, 7/10)

I tried one of the Quake Mods that come with the Steam version of Quake and it was pretty okay. The best part is the bonus level you get after completing the mod which is by far the reason to stick around and play it for. I don't have much to say considering the gameplay is still the same. I might have to look for some source ports and play some of the other mods for Quake as well.

I'm feeling sick today so I haven't even played anything, but I've been trying to work on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as I've kind of gotten into that. I am probably going to have to restart Yakuza Kiwami 2 since I've been away from it so long. I was also attempting to play Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando but that hasn't gotten anywhere yet. All I know is I want to attempt to get into some of the Action RPG/Action Adventure recommendations that everyone here was giving me. Hopefully I will start Trials of Mana Remake soon. Other than that, who knows what's going to happen this month?

I wanted to beat more games in June, but I got Covid near the end and it killed my motivation to play

6/7 SteamWorld Heist (PC-Steam): 8:36 8/10
6/12 Valkyria Chronicles (PS3): 35:24 8/10
6/13 Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? - Back to School (Wii): 0:32 5/10
6/14 While True: Learn() (PC-Epic): 4:17 7/10
6/17 XIII (Xbox): 10:32 7/10
6/21 Resident Evil: Revelations (Wii U): 8:36 7/10
6/23 Zone of the Enders HD (PS3): 4:09 6/10
6/30 Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner HD (PS3): 7:41 7/10
6/30 Zone of the Enders HD Collection (PS3): 11:50 7/10

9 games is nothing to sneeze at, but it could've been 11 or 12 if I didn't catch Covid

Valkyria Chronicles was the standout this month, I've become an instant fan of the series and I want to play more.

With the completion of Zone of the Ender HD Collection, I've also finished my A-Z challenge this year. It was a lot of fun and got me to play games I normally wouldn't, who knows how long Deus Ex or MGS VR Missions would rot in my backlog if it weren't for this. Can't wait to do it again next year!

06/03 - Momodora III (6/10)
06/06 - Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (9.5/10)
06/12 - Spyro the Dragon (7.5/10)
06/23 - Batman: Arkham Origins (8.5/10)

Most Favorite: This one absolutely goes to Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment for creating a style of gameplay that, in my opinion, outdoes the orignal base game's. It features a stronger story, characters, and, unlike Plague of Shadows, is actually canon.

Least Favorite: It feels odd to criticize Momodora III so harshly seeing as it is a small game by a small dev, but when compared to Momodora II, nearly everything in this game feels like a downgrade, step back, or like it cut corners.

Personal Recommendation: I do not understand the disdain by some for Batman: Arkham Origins. Yes it has issues, yes it has flaws, but I'd argue that the core gameplay is stronger here than in both Asylum and City.
