Good Morning Everdred and well... everybody!?!?

Just wondered if this is a known issue or if this is the way it's suppose to work.

When I go to my backlog list, and use the sort option, lots of them don't seem to work. For example - Time - Main Story just give me an alphabetical sort.

Also - the fields do no display anything - so for example it I choose "Date - Completed", it is sorted correctly but no date is shows.

Again - this specifically happen on the Backlog list (when I click my name and than "Backlog" under the Games menu). It does not happen for example in the "Completed" list.

Like the Time - Main Story example here is because presumably you haven't finished the games in your backlog so there's no main story time to show. If you want to sort by how long it'd take to beat them then there's Time - To Beat for that. The same with Date - Completed. My thinking was always that "Time - To Beat" is some kind of average timing while "Time - Main Story" will be the same I see when I browse games individually. For example, if I have a backlog of 50 games, and I want to see which game in my backlog will take me the shortest to "Time - 100%" - I don't have a way of doing so.

I was hoping the sort will not use my personal time but the time showing as an average or Median for the global population that played that game. Maybe it's an idea to include a tick box to allow me selecting between my personal time and global time.

I want to keep my replayed games separate from my completion list, so I thought I'd sort them into the replay tab instead of tagging them as replays. The problem is, I can't list completion dates/times on games unless they're in the completed tab, and since that info's important, I have to lump replays and first-times together.

Fixes I think would work
1: Add the option to use replay/custom tabs as secondary completion lists (bit niche but I would really like this)
2: Add a filter for stuff that's tagged or not tagged as a replay (I wouldn't be surprised if this was already there and I just missed it)

I second this. There's actually a ton of replays I haven't added to my lists because of how cluttered alphabetical sorting (my preferred sort order) can become when replays and first time completions are lumped together.

Got two small suggestions, functionality to view games on users profile filtered or sorted by rating, either on completions tab or stats, and reviews on games page to be visible even when user has added only text and not rating.

Also, I would like to say that I use the site more on my mobile than on my pc and I really appreciate how flawlessly it works and how convenient it is.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, you can already view other users' games sorted by rating on any of their tabs.

Also, since you're messing with sorting options right now, would it be possible to implement muti-sort? Such as being able to sort first by rating and then by time to beat so both stats are viewable simultaneously without having to click show details?

I just had this thought strike me, I was wondering, since we have had lots of forum games over the years, some that’ll probably be continuously going like Guess the Image and the thread to post our HLTB The Game scores I was wondering if they should maybe get their own category outside of Recent Gaming? That way both those and the discussion focused threads don’t get as buried from each other?

Can the stats page have sorting by rating?

Is there ever going to be a stat for how many reviews a user has written on this site? I think it would be an interesting one to have.

Basically, something along the lines of this example:

Search for game -> Search by # of ratings -> Select number of ratings, let’s say 0 as basic example -> Get results for all games with No ratings only.

Is there a possibility to make 500 maximum characters in General notes higher? I wanted to write a detailed summary of my completion for AC 3 Remastered but I ran out of characters :/

- New "Playable On" system on the backend that allows me to add platforms to a game that are not on the official platform list.
- Enables auto approval of submissions where platform would cause manual approval, think games in a compilation like Atari 2600 games submitted as PS4 because they are found in a collection on PS4.
- Eventually this data will be used to suggest Platforms during submission.

This system was created because many publishers are re-releasing their games in collections and it is making the existing platform system difficult to deal with on a moderation front. This will help reduce manual sorting once I build out the data.

Examples: Mega Man collections, Sega Collections, Capcom, SNK, Taito, etc. I'll be able to attach PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series, Switch, etc. to these games.

Single list works as it should, but Multi List just lists all the lists. I would love for this to be what games have all 3 of these tags that I select. (Maybe call it Multi-tag List or similar.)

So you're basically looking to filter games that match all criteria instead of any criteria? That could be interesting. I know the main game search has search options, I wonder if the same thing could be implemented for user lists. I saw that there's an "Other Options" drop down list that has things like "Isolate My Games" and "Isolate DLC". I'm curious if it would be possible to make both of those selections at the same time, like a multi-step filter.

It would be nice for there to be a separate date started field for a playthrough. I know that there is a date-added stat, but I add games to my backlog when I own them, not when I start them, so that doesn't work for me. With a separate date started field, I could keep track of that as well. This could result in some other interesting stats such as sorting the days between starting a playthrough and finishing the game.

Yeah, I like this idea.

I'm thinking Single, Multi and a 3rd (need to think of labels that make sense) and you can rotate through them.

- New Multi List mode called "Intersection" that only displays games that are a part of all selected lists.

Quick Add - Collections
- Fixed a bug that allowed you to attempt submitting to an empty list. You will now be prompted to add a name to the Collection.
