I'm currently playing...

On Nintendo Switch:
Link's Awakening (2019), I've just started the 7th Dungeon and I'm already sad for when it's over :(.
Ring Fit Adventure I have not played it much yet, but it is surprisingly fun and I like the ring feature.

On the go I'm currently playing Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA). I don't like it as much as the other Mario & Luigi games (not that I've ever finished one of them), but it's still good. I'm only about 3 hours into it, though.

Then I've picked a few games I would like to play through Xbox game pass for PC, which would be: Riverbond, The Stillness of the Wind, Tacoma, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight and, of course, The Outer Worlds. I tried to stick to games that are under 5 hours long, except for The Outer Worlds. Maybe I can manage to play them all this month :). I've also already played through Riverbond today (which wasn't that great) and I'll play The Stillness of the Wind tomorrow. At least that's the plan.

The Outer Worlds: The game that is taking most of my time. Mixed opinion, but still a long way to complete it. I'm liking it but the combat system is so basic and everything surrounding it lacks so much depth... Anyway, it is incredibly well written and that is what is geting me so engaged. I wasn't expecting to find a Mass Effect vibe in it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Really enjoying the good old sensation of the Modern Warfare series. CoD really needed a game like this. So far so good, campaign and multiplayer.
State of Mind: I wasn't attracted at first when I watched the trailers but once I started playing it it is growing on me. I'm not sure what the game is all about since I've been playing it for an hour or so, but looks promising.
Batman: Arkham Origins: I've started replaying it since I'm replaying the whole saga again. One of my favourite sagas ever. Unfortunately, this Origins game is the worst of them all, but still a pretty neat game.

Also, as always, tons and tons of hours playing Rocket League. I really can't stop playing it.

I started playing Ring Fit Adventure and it´s already kicking my ass. I don´t exercise at all so for me it´s really tough, but I hope it will all be worth it in the end.

Been playing Ace Attorney 3- just started the last case, which I've heard is one of the best in the series, so I'm really excited to play through it!

I got greedy and I'm playing a bunch of stuff:

- Pokemon Platinum - Nuzlocke (DS)
- Pokemon Platinum - Regular Playthrough (DS)
- Pokemon Blue (GB Tower on N64)
- Majora's Mask (N64)
- Danganronpa V3 (PC)
- AA: Justice for All (Switch)

Also I'll probably start:

- Monster Hunter World (PC)
- Shin Megami Tensei IV (3DS)

I'm about halfway through Celeste and I love it. It has a very simple story that I really can relate to (see this thread). So far, I honestly feel like it is not really hard. Maybe it's because I grew up in the 80s with Castlevania and Mega Man, but the platforming in Celeste is very well done, very clever, and the controls are very precise. I'm surprised I didn't catch that game before, but quite happy to be playing it now. The first five chapters of my playthrough are viewable on my YouTube channel here:

It gets a lot tougher from what I´ve seen. I didn´t play the game myself but I watched someone else play it and there were definitely more deaths during the later chapters.
There are also optional level if you crave more of a challenge.

Welp, Since one racing game wasn't enough for me and I need more Forza in my life, I decided to start a Complete 100% Playthrough of Forza Motorsport 3 on 360 by doing all the races. Right now I'm over an hour in and I can see why many think this is the best Forza Motorsport game from the 360 Era although the AI is brain dead and literally keeps crashing into walls on the easiest difficulty I'm on. However, the handling is brilliantly done and I like the way the campaign is set up so if you decide to miss any of the championships you're doing you can go back to all of them in the Event List menu. Also, Licensed Soundtrack! YAY!

Started "Sherlock Holmes: The Secret of the Silver Earring". Hoping this is better than Mystery of the Mummy, but some of the reviews I've read suggest that won't be the case.

That was the first SH game I wanted to get into the series with, can't remember how many times I searched the first area until a guide told me to inspect some tiny spot to progress. Maybe I'm just dumb and don't have quite the watchful eye to classify as Sherlock, but hiding points of interest & objects like that has been questionable in pretty much every point & click adventure ever made. I'd rather be solving complex puzzles instead, no thanks.

I started playing Concrete Genie and so far the game is simply delightful. You play as a kid with a magical brush and are tasked to paint your desolate town back to live.
A very pretty looking game with motion controls that are actually good.

I’m 10.5 hours into Death Stranding, which I got delivered the day before its official release (though unfortunately the courier was not Norman Reedus on a motorbike). It’s only the second game that I’ve ever pre-ordered since video games were invented, and it’s equal parts tremendous, terrifying, tortuous and tedious.

I love it.

I'm about the same amount of time in - glad to hear someone else is enjoying it as well. It's super interesting and I'm still really keen to see where the story goes, but also I'm shocked by how much I'm enjoying the running around and delivering things!

Still working my way through Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I have over 100 hours in this game, and I don't think I'll be finishing it for at least another 15. And on top of that all, I still intend to replay it 3 more times for all the endings. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is the only game I play for the rest of the year.

Yeah, it’s funny, but I really dislike fetch quests in most other games, and here I am trudging through a bleak wilderness as a glorified Fed-Ex employee and loving every Zen-like minute of it*

I guess it’s somewhat like me hating boss fights, but Shadow Of The Colossus being my favourite game ever.

*Mind, I was glad when I finally got the motorbike up and running, and could zip between locations in minutes!

I know what you mean
without spoiling anything... the game keeps giving you better ways of getting around and carrying more stuff, so it's managed to stay away from the grind for me (so far)!

I ran into the exact same problem. They constantly put tiny, indiscernible clues in places that conflict with other objects. I don't even think the game is consistent with its own story at times which doesn't help.
