Game #28: Untitled Goose Game
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 2h 50m 10s
100% Complete: 5h 24m 15s
Rating: 8/10
Date Completed: January 17, 2021
Game Synopsis: You're a goose. You're also an asshole.
Blog: I have no idea how to introduce this game properly.
You play as a goose that terrorizes townspeople and where you have a list of tasks that you can accomplish.
Every area is like a puzzle and you're trying to see the interactions these people have to different things. Even when not doing the puzzles to complete tasks, the game is just fun to play around in.
I've seen people describe this as a stealth game, and I guess there's elements of stealth involved but most of the time I just went all-in most of the time.
The game is just so much fun, but it's so incredibly short! It took me about 3 hours to get through the main stuff, and I was honestly kind of taking my time with the game. If you're someone who wants to go as fast as you can, you'll probably get it done in close to 2 hours. That's super short, and a game that normally goes for $20... I'd probably wait for a sale.
TL;DR: Untitled Goose Game is a game of ridiculous, simplistic fun. A shame that it's just so incredibly short.

Game #29: Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 51m 15s
Rating: 4/10
Date Completed: January 18, 2021
Extra Details: NSO Version
Game Synopsis: Play as a middle-aged man trying to save a woman from a fire breathing turtle
Blog: I didn't care for the original Mario all that much. I cared even less for a Mario game with cheap tricks.
This game has not aged very well. I dislike the use of having to find invisible blocks in order to progress. The addition of wind is obnoxious. Springs hardly work as they should.
I purposely looked up shortcuts for this game ahead of time because I knew I wouldn't really like it. I honestly just wanted to get it over with as quickly as I possibly could.
TL;DR: Want to play an official Mario game that constantly feels like a bad Mario Maker level? That's what Super Mario Bros. the Lost Levels is. Not much else to say about it honestly.

Game #30: Star Soldier (1986)
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 1h 34m 03s
Rating: 2/10
Date Completed: January 19, 2021
Extra Details: NSO Version
Game Synopsis: A 16 level shoot 'em up where you must chase and fight hordes of aliens.
Blog: Wow this game was annoying to play.
I will say, the gameplay is generally pretty good and ideal when it works. Shooting enemies is great and getting upgrades to have more shots is also good, those are two basic things that any shooter can do and get right.
Even with those, I can't help but feeling that this game is just so aggravating to play.
First of all, this game has 16 long levels. That might sound great and all, but something I do not like is that there is that when you lose all your lives in any level, you start at the very beginning of level 1. There's no saves or codes that will get you to a later level, the normal way to beat the game is going through everything without having all your lives just gone. So I of course set up save states. I'm not ashamed to say that.
Then there's the bosses. At the end of every level there's a boss you have to defeat. Here's the annoying thing though: if you don't defeat the boss in a certain amount of time, it runs away and you have to do the level all over again. What kind of bull shit is that? Now, thankfully the bosses don't run away the second time you fight them. But what the hell is the point of having a boss fight if they just run away? That's so stupid.
Also, if the boss runs away from you on all 16 levels; you are essentially playing 32 levels. Imagine dying on a run like that and having to start on level 1 again. That sucks. And it's not as if there's any benefit to playing the levels again. The upgrades don't stack. I guess maybe if you want a higher score?
Finally the last thing that absolutely makes me want to pull my hair out: not being able to shoot sometimes.
This one needs some explanation: sometimes in the game your ship is flying over these big alien ships or structures. Sometimes when this happens you aren't able to shoot for whatever reason. This isn't something that always happens when you fly over them everytime either, just sometimes. It never stops the enemies from shooting either. Just you. It's so extremely annoying.
I just wish this game was better than how it is.
TL;DR: Star Soldier is one of the most annoying NES games I've played. Play other shoot 'em up games instead.

Game #31: Epic Mickey
Platform: Wii
Main Story: 21h 37m 12s
Rating: 8/10
Date Completed: January 24, 2021
Game Synopsis: Mickey Mouse is stuck in a world of forgotten Disney characters. Help him get back home by using his magic brush.
Blog: Epic Mickey was one of my favorite games on the Wii growing up. But now that I'm 21 instead of 11(oh wow, THAT long ago?) what are my thoughts on it now?
My thoughts are still positive to say the least!
The main gameplay mechanic revolves around Mickey's brush. The brush can spray paint which can be used to fix the environment around you and to befriend enemies, alternatively you can also spray thinner to destroy the environment and melt enemies. This brush allows for exploration and having the player keep their eyes open for things they can paint or thin, which this game definitely takes advantage of.
The game goes a bit further with the paint and thinner theme and even adds a morality aspect to it. You can choose to solve puzzles or other situations by using paint or thinner. Do you choose to fix everything, befriending the bosses and help the people of the world with their problems; or do you destroy every object, enemy, and boss in your path? What's really cool about this is that if you talk to characters around the world, they'll know what you did and news spreads around. Sidequests will be available or unavailable depending on what you do. It's definitely cool to see in a game like this.
Unfortunately, the morality system hardly has any effect on the ending. I got the "paint path", I checked out a video of the "thinner path" and aside from a few minor things, the ending is mostly the same. To me, that's such a huge missed opportunity. Why not have one ending be the good ending where everyone is celebrating and happy, and a bad ending where everything is destroyed and people resent Mickey? That'd be cool to see. God they could have done something interesting but they didn't.
One thing I really like is the atmosphere of the game. I already talked about the paint and thinner, but there's more to the world than just that. I like how the characters are all these forgotten characters from old Mickey Mouse cartoons, the most prominent example being Oswald the Rabbit who is essentially the figurehead or creator of the world. I like how it all feels like an abandoned Disney theme park with the different broken down rides and areas like Tomorrow City and Venture Land. I also thought the parts of the game where you travel through projectors and go through the different Disney cartoons was really cool. The atmosphere was probably my favorite part of the whole game.
One gripe I really have with this game is lack of voice acting in the cutscenes. They feel so lifeless and empty. Where's that Disney charm? Why aren't the characters at least talking? No, grunts don't count!
Also, the last two bosses are kind of lame, but they're both lame in their own ways. The second to final boss isn't really a boss fight, you just need to defeat the enemies or change the environment to benefit you, but the "boss" doesn't attack at all. It's really weird considering their role in the game. The final boss was fine mechanically, but it didn't feel like it was a character worthy of being a final boss. People who have played this game know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I really liked Epic Mickey. If anyone has a Wii, I'd recommend checking it out... Not the sequel though!
TL;DR: Epic Mickey is a great game on the Wii! You don't even have to be a Disney fan to enjoy it.

Game #32: Punch Out
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 2h 28m 38s
Rating: 9/10
Date Completed: January 30, 2021
Extra Details: NSO Version
Game Synopsis: Fight to become the champion of boxers.
Blog: Punch Out for the NES is great! I wasn't expecting to like this one so much... just like all NES games that I end up really liking. I probably need to raise my expectations more.
My favorite thing about the game is the personality. Everyone you fight has a unique personality to them not only in the way they talk in-between rounds but the way they fight and walk in the ring.
With the fights it's about adapting to a pattern and looking for openings. Everyone has a tell and it's almost similar to a reactionary puzzle. It feels good to hit someone at just the right moment.
One issue, and this is more of an issue with the Nintendo Switch itself, the joycons d-pad absolutely blows with dodging. This doesn't become too much of an issue until you get to the fights with Mr. Sandman and Mr. Dream where they throw consecutive punches. So I will take off a point for the Switch NSO version just due to that.
TL;DR: The original Punch Out is great, but don't use the normal joycons on the NSO version.

Game Synopsis: Save a caged gorilla as the gorilla's child.
Blog: There's not really much to this game. This is one of the shortest games I've ever played. Like, wow.
You are a gorilla. You climb vines, avoid obstacles, and rescue a bigger gorilla. It was originally an arcade game, so it's short and you can earn a high score. but unfortunately there's nothing difficult with this game.
I just really couldn't care more or less for this game.

Rating: 5/10
Date Completed: January 30, 2021

Game Synopsis: Find crystals to reveal the outline of a picture.
Blog: Clu Clu Land is just kind of boring.
It's a puzzle game where the objective is to go around the map trying to reveal invisible crystals, avoiding enemies and obstacles. When revealing all the crystals it'll usually reveal itself as the outline of an object.
It's a neat concept but the execution is pretty dull. It feels extremely long and boring, as well as being pretty easy. It also doesn't help that the controls are terrible.
It's just a forgettable game.

Game #35: Volleyball
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 1h 5m 13s
Rating: 2/10
Date Completed: January 31, 2021
Extra Details: NSO Version
Game Synopsis: You know that one sportsball in highschool where you had to use your hands to hit a ball over to the other side of a net? That's what this game is.
Blog: Congratulations to Volleyball for being the worst NES game I've ever played.
Generic sports games are never very much fun, even the ones on the NES haven't really been much fun. This one is worse than all of those. Not only is it a generic volleyball game, it also controls like garbage.
You have a team of 6 players. You can control 3 of them depending on where the ball is heading, either the 3 in the front or the 3 in the back.
However, you're not always able to control all 3 of them, and sometimes the players that you want to hit the ball don't actually hit the ball. Sometimes the game randomly decides to let you to control one player, sometimes it only lets you to control two. It's very inconvenient and random with no way for the player to decide what they want to do until they find out too late that the player they wanted to hit the ball, can't actually hit the ball for some reason.
Also I mentioned that you can switch between the 3 players at the front and 3 players at the back automatically depending on where the ball is headed. I don't understand why they thought doing it like that was a good idea. Often times when the volleyball is coming at my side real fast, it only gives me a split second to control the back 3 players and by then it's too late and the ball has hit the ground.
Look, at the very least I was expecting the game to be generic, but its controls... wow they're bad. At least you can tell it's a volleyball game.
TL;DR: Volleyball had the potential to be a generic volleyball video game, but its controls made it even worse. Don't buy it!

Game #36: Pokemon Channel
Platform: GameCube
Main + Extras: 5h 42m 20s
Rating: 4/10
Date Completed: February 6, 2021
Game Synopsis: You watch tv with Pikachu.
Blog: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play a video game, about watching tv with a Pikachu? I'm sure everyone has had that thought on their minds at one point or another.
Wonder no longer! For Pokemon Channel exists and I have played it! I'm sure everyone is wondering if it's as intense as they think it is...
It's not!
Pokemon Channel is a game clearly designed for Pokemon fans at a very young age. There's nothing wrong with that of course, I enjoyed it as a child. However, there's some issues I have with it.
A very big issue is that there's so much waiting involved. Like, oh god there's too much waiting. Do you want to watch the weather channel to decide the weather for that day? Well you have to wait for like 5 minutes for Slowbro to finally make a decision. You want to see if there's something in the shopping channel that you're interested in? Well Squirtle is going to take up so much of your time pausing as he speaks before showing your items that it turns out you're not interested in. Do you want to get on a bus to Cobalt Coast? You have to wait more than 5 minutes, watching 2 other buses go by before you can finally hop onto the bus that you waited for.
It's just so annoying. These are things that shouldn't need to take so long. I wish there was just an option to go through these sections faster than they pace that they decided to take. Why can't one bus just take me to all 3 places instead of having to wait for so long if I want to go to Snowhead Mountain or Cobalt Coast. That's just irritating and brings the game down.
It makes sense for some other things in the game to take their time. There's a section where you can water a plant everyday and it'll grow more and more as time goes on. That makes sense! You can watch an animated episode of Pichu Bros and for 5 days a new part of the episode will be released. That makes sense! These things are fine! When the game is hindered by waiting, that's when it becomes an issue.
The game is still overall dull by the end of the day. Hell, even without the needless waiting I'd rate it a 5. This game is just not meant for a man in his early 20s.
TL;DR: Pokemon Channel is a game meant for young Pokemon fans, if you have a kid younger than 10 who's really into Pokemon this game will probably satisfy them. But I think I'm just too old for this.

Game Synopsis: Football? Football.
Blog: Move aside, every other country in the world. Here's the real football. Action packed with oval-like balls.
I'm going to be real honest here, I'm not an American football fan, or even a sports fan in general.
I also had no idea what I was doing half of the time, even though I won.
I understand that I need to run to the end of the field in order to get a touchdown, and I understand that I need to stop the other team from doing the same.
What I don't get is the parts where you setup your team formation. I wasn't really sure what made the setups any better or what made them different. It seemed I could also change what players did what, but I didn't understand that benefit either. I think this game could have done with an optional tutorial for that part.
I do think the voice overs were pretty funny though. Other than that, this is just a generic football game on the Sega Genesis.
TL;DR: Whoooooo football!

Platform: Switch
Main Story: 48h 20m 00s
Main + Extras: 61h 05m 32s
Rating: 8/10
Date Completed: February 28, 2021
Game Synopsis: A boy finds himself in an alternative world with familiar faces and monsters.
Blog: Oh god, this game took me most of February to do all I wanted to do.
Ni No Kuni is a quite fun game. It has a fun pokemon-ish system where you can use creatures for battle and it can be kinda fun, although I do have my issues with it.
For example, the beginning half of the game is extremely slow. Both story and especially the combat is pretty sluggish. I feel like most of the characters I didn't actually care for, and the aspect with repairing broken hearted people got old real fast and just felt the same. It fixes itself later, but man that story has a rocky start.
The combat was another issue. The game would slowly spoon-feed features and mechanics that I would consider as essential. For example, you aren't able to recruit any familiars until about 5-10 hours into the game. That's lame! Imagine playing Pokemon but you weren't allowed to catch Pokemon until the 2nd or 3rd gym. That makes the game pretty boring at the start already and makes you stupidly limited on your tactics.
Your teammates' ai is another issue, as often times you'll tell them to "defend" and they won't, or they run out into a spot where they'll obviously get hit such as when a monster charges their attack. Most of the time you can't do anything other than watch.
Like I said, the game fixes itself in some of these areas; but some stuff like the ai issues are still there. So the story and combat does get better, and there's more strategy involved which is a lot of fun.
One thing that's apparent is how gorgeous the art style and animation are. It was done by the famous Studio Ghibli with their signature style and it's so well-done and fits with the game. Character designs usually look very unique and I find myself enjoying what my eyes are taking in.
Music is also pretty good and usually fits the scenario. My favorite song of the game has got to be the regular battle theme. It just sounds so epic and I might add it to my Youtube playlist of good music.
TL;DR: Ni No Kuni is a great game with a terrible first half. Don't sleep on this if you enjoy RPGs.

Game #39: Moving Out
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 5h 31m 25s
Main + Extras: 5h 47m 21s
Rating: 8/10
Date Completed: March 7, 2021
Game Synopsis: Play as a moving company moving furniture to and from buildings.
Blog: Covid-19 has made it harder for people to get together, but that won't stop me from playing co-op games... by myself.
I think this game is pretty enjoyable, but for single player it wasn't anything that I thought was outstanding. Maybe I could say differently with playing co-op but I haven't had the opportunity for that.
It's a fun concept of moving around furniture that doesn't take itself seriously, and that's a good thing. Lots of jokes about how the moving company loses or breaks furniture. It's a fun ride.
An issue is that the game feels too short and there's also not enough variety. I could put levels into groups: regular moving levels, haunted levels, factory levels, space levels. I wish there was more variety, maybe a beach house for example? It's unfortunate...
Also, the movement feels oddly slippery at times. Jumping is slippery, walking is slippery. It can really mess up things and cause furniture to be destroyed that I then have to retrieve again. That really should be fixed.
Otherwise, the game is pretty fun.
TL;DR: Moving Out is a hilarious adventure that's probably even more fun with friends. I wish there was more level variety though.

Game #40: Family Party: 30 Great Games Outdoor Fun
Platform: Wii
Main Story: 1h 56m 12s
Rating: 1/10
Date Completed: March 13, 2021
Game Synopsis: A game about playing a bunch of Summer themed minigames.
Blog: The Wii has an overabundance of shovelware. But I believe that the kind of shovelware that's milked the most on the Wii are party minigame compilations. That's what Family Party is all about.
What's even crazier is that there's a Family Party series, and from what I've seen it all functions the same. I feel sorry for any poor souls who've bought the entire series.
This game is amazingly bad. Motion controls are the main issue. They're not accurate most of the time. There are games where you need to try to run by swinging the wii remote back-and-forth, and for whatever reason no matter how fast I go, my character is super slow.
This game also reminded me that the nunchuck has motion controls too! It's even worse of course! Sometimes I wonder if it functions at all.
There are certain minigames where the camera will only focus on the players in the lead for like a race. This is very infuriating in games where I need to see where I'm going. Why can't it be like Mario Party where each player has a dedicated slice of the screen to see themselves on? You'd think this would be basic.
I love how inconsistent the minigames are. Sometimes you get minigames, with complicated instructions, weird specifications in how the Wii remote needs to be held, bad gifs(There's one that shows you how to press A + B but none of the complicated movements. Thanks, I never would have figured that out). Then there's games that are so mindless. Stuff like just pressing a button at the right time.
I'm not sure how else I need to explain, do not buy this game. Do not play it. Don't even look at it.
TL;DR: Avoid the Family Party series at all costs!

I used to go to my aunt's house a lot when I returned from school and she had a Wii. Unfortunately the most part of the games that I played on her Wii were boring but thank god she never bought this Family Depression Party game. If I ever go to her house again and see this game there, I'll make sure to burn it.

Game #41: System Flaw
Platform: Nintendo DS
Main Story: 3h 55m 28s
Rating: 2/10
Date Completed: March 13, 2021
Game Synopsis: Defend Earth against an onslaught of aliens.
Blog: Fun fact: did you know that this is one of five DSi games that were released physically? This was specifically made as a DSi game because it's entirely based on the back-facing camera on the system. The environment is the real world surroundings that you're in and you're using that camera to look around and shoot the enemies coming at you. It's like Face Raiders on the 3DS, although System Flaw was released before the 3DS.
It all sounds cool in concept, but I really didn't care for this game and the controls were pretty bad. Sometimes they were even unresponsive. Relying on the camera of the DSi or 3DS for movement didn't really feel right.
Another thing is the game overstays it's welcome with 99 levels, and what's even worse is that they make the game longer with some missions where you'll need to survive for 4 minutes, 6 minutes, even 12 minutes in some cases. I added up all the missions where you need to survive, and it was 1:02:15. That's just about a third of the playtime! That's awful!
It's like a mobile game where it's a little fun in doses. That being said, I don't think the DSi or 3DS was really made for these types of games. It's just not good.
TL;DR: If you ever wanted a bad predecessor to Face Raiders, here it is.

Game #42: The Wonderful 101 Remastered
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 13h 47m 3s
Rating: 7/10
Date Completed: March 24, 2021
Game Synopsis: Control a group of heroes and save the world from aliens!
Blog: The Wonderful 101 Remastered is a great game! It has very creative gameplay and I really enjoy it.
The story is over-the-top with tons of action scenes and thankfully doesn't take itself too seriously. It's not a story that will be thought-provoking, the story is just loads of fun.
As I said, I like the gameplay. It's sort of like a beat 'em up with a creative concept of having to draw shapes to use weapons, and the weapons are made out of people that you recruit. That probably doesn't make any sense but it's fun!
One thing about the gameplay is that along the way you'll gain access to new characters and therefore new weapons. To me, it's a bit overwhelming especially when some of the shapes you need to draw can be really close to each other. It can also be pretty difficult to draw certain weapons in some cases.
Another thing, this game was originally on the Wii U. In hindsight there's nothing wrong with that, as the Wii U is a great system. However, when Platinum made the port they didn't do a great job. Since the Wii U had two screens, there were sections where it would display different things on the screens. Instead of removing those sections or changing how those sections worked, Platinum decided to display a smaller screen that you'd have to display on top of the screen already being used. It's just so bad! I feel like it'd be so easy to change these sections. It's so unnecessary!
Honestly, I wonder if the Wii U version would be better to play just because of those sections. In any case, I recommend this game!
TL;DR: The Wonderful 101 Remastered is a great beat 'em up but I wish Platinum took the time to fix the Wii U issues with this game.

Game #43: Lego Star Wars: The Video Game
Platform: GameCube
Main Story: 8h 58m 43s
Rating: 8/10
Date Completed: March 24, 2021
Game Synopsis: Play through the Star Wars prequel trilogy in Lego form.
Blog: You know what's not so great? The Star Wars prequels. You know what is great? The Lego game of the Star Wars prequels.
I played this game when I was a child. In fact, this was my first step into the Star Wars universe before I knew about any of the movies. I spent hours with this game as a kid.
Do I think it's as amazing as I used to think? No it probably isn't. It definitely shows it's age, as it's one of the first Lego games in this style. You can't even build in this game as you can in nearly every other Lego game.
You can definitely see the roots of the Lego game franchise here, the minikits, buying characters, free play mode, extras, and some other things. Future staples are also missing such as gold bricks, but I don't think that truly matters.
The gameplay is still a Lego game at its core, which is all about fun. It's fun to swing lightsabers at battle droids, grabbing as much money as you can, and looking for minikits in each level.
There's also these ship missions which I remember enjoying as a kid, but it seems like I really don't care for them. They were probably the weakest levels in the games.
The Episode III missions are also clearly rushed. A lot of the missions seem shorter than the ones in I and II. Minikits were also put in places that the player would easily stumble across. The Greivous fight in particular just feels off. Although, the last level is easily the most memorable in the entire game where you need to fight your Player 2. This was fun with a friend.
Lego Star Wars the Video Game is fun, but maybe play the Complete Saga if you have it. Since that has all three episodes in this game, and the three episodes of the original trilogy.
TL;DR: Lego Star Wars the Video Game shows it's age as an old Lego game but is still lots of fun.

Game #44: Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck
Platform: Nintendo DS
Main Story: 1h 29m 00s
Main + Extra: 2h 08m 52s
Rating: 5/10
Date Completed: March 24, 2021
Game Synopsis: Daffy Duck stars in his own video game, do everything in your power to make sure he has a bad time.
Blog: This game is quite interesting. Although that doesn't mean it's necessarily good.
The game is about Daffy Duck starring in his own video game. The issue is that the game wasn't ever finished. It's your job as the player to decide how the game will turn out, but you also have to piss off Daffy.
I don't know what Daffy did to deserve to be pissed off, but that's the goal.
Duck Amuck is essentially a mini game compilation. What makes this interesting is that to unlock the minigames, you have to interact with Daffy in some way. Tap on Daffy, tap the area around Daffy, waiting for Daffy to do something, and there's even a whole minigame where you need to close the DS screen to get to it. That's probably my favorite minigame because it does a Simon Says type of game while the DS is closed and you need to press the L or R buttons while the DS is closed. I've seen games like Zelda Phantom Hourglass where you need to close the screen for certain things, but I've never seen a game where you do that and press the shoulder buttons. That's so unique!
However, unique doesn't always mean good. Some of the minigames don't react too well with the touch screen. Sometimes I would need to tap the screen 2 or 3 times for my actions to go through. It seems that the game needs to increase the touch sensitivity.
Although, some of the games are also just basic and ridiculously easy that require almost no thought. Aside from the initial "what game is this?" thoughts due to there being no initial instruction screen. Which is another issue, there are no instructions before starting the minigames. The only way to pull up the instructions for a minigame is to pause during. I was a third through the game before I realized that by accident.
I do enjoy the old Looney Tunes vibe from this game. The Daffy Duck in this game isn't some new version of Daffy, he's very similar to how he acted in the original cartoon and I really like that.
Other than that, the game isn't anything special though.
TL;DR: Duck Amuck does some interesting stuff but the game doesn't give the same feeling.

Game #45: Double Dragon II: The Revenge
Platform: Switch
Main Story: 36m 05s
Rating: 6/10
Date Completed: March 25, 2021
Extra Details: NSO Version
Game Synopsis: Your girlfriend was killed. Get revenge by beating everyone in your path.
Blog: I didn't really care for the first Double Dragon, and while I feel like the sequel started off stronger than the first. I couldn't help but feel that there were things going on that made me feel as if it deserves a similar 6/10 rating.
First of all, I like the fighting. I like how it feels. It's probably a bit too easy in some aspects but I feel like it handles itself well on that front.
One thing that's not so fun is that I find myself constantly falling off the front of the stage constantly. Apparently in some stages if you move south toward the screen by too much you'll fall off and instantly lose a life. That sucks! There's not even any point in that really being there.
What's even worse is that this game sometimes thinks it's a platformer. Surprise surprise, the platforming is awkward. These controls were not made for this!
The story also doesn't make much sense to me. I understand the dude's girlfriend died and now he wants to fight the people that killed her. I feel like it takes a weird turn at the end and I'm not really sure who's suppose to be responsible for her death. Really weird...
Anyway, maybe play this if you're into 2D platformers if you want.
TL;DR: Double Dragon II is similar to its predecessor in that it's fighting mechanics are pretty good but is very lacking in other areas.

I have a lot of memories of playing this with my sister. We never beat it, but it was a bit of a letdown seeing what the ending would have been if we had.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend this game for the story. It's definitely more fun if you ignore that mess.

Good lord, I could never do this. I have about 450 games, a lot of them steam shovelware, but even those aside, it would be painful for me. I have certainly been trying to beat more games recently, and this gives me motivation. Good luck man!
