How funny. Everything seemed OK when I was testing it :P

Fixed. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hi there!

For the past 1,5 weeks I am having the weirdest issue: the site doesn't work for me using Chrome (my default browser). I can log into my profile fine (although it is slow) but the search bar is not working, as well as adding items manually from the product pages. Everything works perfectly in Firefox, and 1,5 weeks before everything was perfect in Chrome as well.

-I am using the latest Chrome and the latest Windows 10 (HU version)
-I have cleared the cache and the cookies as well
-No new hardware components or drivers were installed
-I have NOD32 and Malwarebytes installed
-Every other site I use work perfectly.

I have absolutely no idea what might be wrong :(

Could the page for Samba de Amigo be split into a page for the Dreamcast version and a page for the Wii version? Right now, the two are both under the same listing, but they're not the same game; the track listings are different, there are additional modes and characters in the Wii version, etc.

Site got a minor update.

Game Pages:
- Your playthroughs times are now listed with the rest of the site on the main page.
- Mobile version modified slightly to showcase box art.
- Completion tab now has full functionality in mobile (reporting etc.).

Game & User pages:
- Platform ratio script has been optimized. Cuts about a .25 to 1 second off load times. More so for heavy loggers (Chronoja, NeoJ, etc.)

Some Notes:
- Platform ratio should help speed up site like platform changes from a while back but I never know until the changes go global so let me know what you guys are seeing.
- I currently hate the completion tab and have for a while because it's so damn slow, it's high on my list of optimizations right next to user profile main pages.

As always, feedback is welcomed and appreciated!

I was about to post about playthroughs times showing there! I think it looks great and thanks to compare your times with the data on the server, that way you can get a better estimate on how fast or slow you are to complete given games or genres :D

That was my intent! Also, if you have multiple playthroughs for a game, it will display the average of your playthroughs for that type.

I know that it's not exactly the purpose of the site, but what if we had public reviews for games posted on the game's profile, similar to the way sputnikmusic.com allows users to post reviews on albums. I value sharing opinions with my fellow gamers, however, it probably wouldn't be appropriate to create a thread for every game someone wants to review. Having a section dedicated to game reviews would be able to facilitate this need (but only if users are going to actually start doing this). Just a thought.

Using Chrome, I can't seem to view my backlog anymore - clicking on my name in the top right corner doesn't pull down a menu anymore. I've tried logging out, clearing cookies, the usual, it just doesn't work. Is there another way to get to my backlog list?

It would be nice to have something else besides the number displayed! And lately I've been thinking usdr reviews to be way more reliable than critics reviews, and steam reviews can sometimes be full of trolls depending the game :c

If I understand you correctly then that already exists. Each game's page has the overall rating shown on the page and a tab which shows all the written reviews.

Did not know about that. That helps, but I was leaning more towards reviews that were far more analytical and longform in my proposal.

Hmm, I would take a look at your add-ons. These things are JavaScript related. The file name was updated today but none of the contents. I'll randomly have people state they have issues after I update the site but I can't figure out why it happens. It is the reason why I changed the .css and .js file names so that everyone gets the latest version and not the cache versions.

Edit: I purged my CDNs cache too, let me know if you find a solution.

Purged my cache and shut down my add-ons - no luck. It still works in Firefox, but Chrome javascripts just won't launch, which means no search engine, no backlog list.

Exactly the same problem I have posted about a few weeks ago. The site today works perfectly fine using Chrome - so this is super weird!

I'm ecstatic to hear! I believe I know what fixed it but still don't understand why it was only broken for a small percentage.

I would really really love the ability to sort or filter games by genre. This would be such a huge help with large collections, especially when deciding what to play next, because sometimes its fun to play several games in a row in the same genre. I do that a lot, probably primarily, a lot more than I play games in a row on the same platform, so it would greatly improve my experience of the site. RIght now I'm stuck using text files listing games by genre.

While it's not part of HLTB, this site lets you filter your Steam library based on user tags (which include tons of genre ones): https://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/

Random idea - it might be cool to include average rating on the personal Stats page? I'd find it interesting, especially on the yearly views.

Site Update:
Game Page > Completions - Massively improved page speed. Previous page speed was pure garbage.
Game Page > Reviews - Updated with slightly new look, slightly improved performance. More updates coming soon (sorting, etc.)
Game Page > Main - Minor updates to personal playthroughs (no visual changes).
Log in - Header brought up to date with the rest of the site

Still looking to optimize more scripts. User Profile will likely be my next target.

Something must have gotten messed up in the newest site update, because I can't add games to my backlog via Steam. That's how the page loads in and clicking either "estimate time" or "import games" does nothing.

I'd quess it's related to your steam profile privacy settings.
