Based on what I'm reading, both classics have the same content and don't deserve separate entries.

Hopefully all the Steam import issues are sorted.

Shadow Warrior Classic (the free version) is just the base game and Shadow Warrior Classic Redux is the base game and both expansion packs.

Ah, well in that case, the free version is the original DOS version and the other one is the DOS version with JSW and SWP ports (and linux support). Content-wise, they are the same.

Is it just me or has the format of the review section of each game changed? It used to be organised in clear sections according to review score, but now it's just in order of when they were posted. Not sure I like this change myself, as it's hard to see the score breakdowns (though I realise they are depicted in the graph on the left of the reviews), but I'm sure you have your reasons for doing it.

Just wanted to highlight that the profile page is still not working properly - mine is a good example of only showing older stuff in the completion and currently playing sections, even though I've been updating and adding titles recently.

As I've said before - I'm not too bothered, but thought you might want to know if it's not working correctly, as it seems to still be broken.

Same here! Also, it used to show first the last games you updated on the playing tab but it's showing whatever. The recently completed section is gone

Yeah I noticed that playing tab now eats away at the recently completed tab on people’s front pages of their profiles now. I find it kind of neat when I don’t have a lot in my playing tab as it extends the recently completed tab but it’s kind of sad to see the completed tab get eaten up and possibly disappear the more you add to your playing list.

I have a suggestion.

Usually when filling out the time form I forget to do the "First Play through Y/N" question. I then pretty much always answer "yes" and continue.

Maybe it would be good to prefil this field to be "yes" when the user is submitting a game. If they have submitted the game previously to the site, it could default to the "no" option.

It's generally better if the selection doesn't automatically default to any value. The submission process stalling when someone forgets to assign a value causes them to notice it asks them to consider what the option should accurately be. If the value defaulted to either one and the user forgets, you end up with a host of systematically erroneous defaulted submissions because the user never realised the mistake. You also can't make direct assumptions based on number of submissions simply because of how people might sort their own times, e.g. someone might submit two entries of a game, one for Main and one for 100%, but both consist of a single first time playthrough.

Chronoja is correct. If default was set to "yes", no one would change it. It actually used to be that way.

The field is there so I have the option to have replays have less weight when calculating HLTB times, as they can be much faster.

If you have a title on your replay list before marking as completed, it will automatically change this field to "no".

To clear things up...

It's working properly just not as you'd expect it.

Here's how it works:
It takes the first 8 titles from your Playing list, if there aren't 8 titles the rest of the slots are used to display completed titles. This allows for 8 playthroughs to show and gives the user page a nice consistent look.

You don't use the site like majority of users and have a lot of Now Playing titles that you have also marked as completed.

This causes the list of completed to appear wrong because they are actually part of your top 8 currently playing.

Anyway, I've made an update so that both lists are now prioritizing when you last updated that playthough. This way it will display what you have been most recently interacting with.

This may be a temp solution. I'm not sure I'm satisfied with the change.

Yeah, a few of my posts ago I mentioned that I have changed the review section. I also noted that I will be adding additional sorting options in the future. You will be able to display the reviews in the old style once I've completed that. Hopefully soon.

I read above you’re playing around with it a bit right now so I don’t know if this is intentional or not but I just wanted to let you know that the recently completed tab is now ordered by most recently updated I think, so I now have a game from 2010 on there since I have updated it recently.

Edit: I added another game to playing so it got pushed out of view, but it was there before.

I gotcha, I totally understand. Maybe way back when I first used the site it wasn't that way yet so its ingrained in me not to do that field haha.

I think this may have to do with the updates that were posted earlier, so I'm posting it here being aware of that and hopefully showing this for future fixes or clarification if this is intentional.
Anyway, I was reading through the "last interacted with" conversation from earlier and I don't know if it applies, but in my playing list I have 4 titles. Only 2 of them were showing up in my profile list (Hyperdimension and Cook,Serve,Delicious as shown in the screenshots). I toggled them all off and back on, and now only 3 are showing. (Ciel added itself to the list on my profile now.) But Explorers of Sky never put itself back onto my profile, even after updating it's time and toggling it from off and back on to the playing list.
As far as games I last interacted with, wouldn't toggling them off and back onto playing force them all to show up? I even added 1 minute progress times to all the ones that didn't have them, and that didn't bring them up either.
On top of that, in my recently completed, Spyro from April 5th is showing in the "last 6" I've completed, even though in the screenshot there are 8 games I completed after it that aren't showing up after Once on a Windswept Night.

I'm experimenting with a darker them for the site, what are your thoughts?

Do you generally prefer dark sites or lighter sites?

What ever happened to this?? I would so love a dark theme!!
