I think maybe there's a small problem with the Quick game list?
Mine shows the games in my "Playing" tab, but there are displayed in blue with a B, which I guess means Backlog?

Overcooked is shown with a C because it is in my custom "co-op" tab I guess.

Yeah, noticing this too. All my Playing games are marked B for Backlog. I guess it prioritizes the marker that way, but it should display the marker for the list that's selected, unless it's Recent Games.

The idea was that you understand that they are all "playing" so showing a green P would be redundant but this tells you which list the game you are playing is in.

Yes, but the witcher 3 is not in my backlog, it's only in my playing tab

Me: I don't like the redundant P.
Also me: Where's the redundant P???

I see now. Should be fixed.

FWIW, the reason that I - personally - create a new entry when I add a game to Playing is because otherwise the site thinks I was playing the game before this as far as it's "started on X date" record is concerned. At least, that's how I remember it.

Super minor thing, but I was trying to search out all my Pokemon entries in my Completed list, but when I typed in "Poke" I got no results. Cut the "e" off the end and they all popped up. I'm guessing the search function is looking for the accented "é" and isn't counting the plain "e?" The static search bar at the top of the site doesn't seem to have the same issue--I type "Poke" there and they all show up. Not a huge deal, just thought I'd mention.

It was suggested that personal backlog threads get a new forum sub-category, like GOTM has.
Speaking of GOTM, the October thread isn't filed as GOTM.

It will be better to post here or on e-mail, all comments about some game entries?
Examples:
a) title missing from database
b) game not having extra content (therefore having to split time into main, main+extra and completionist, have no sense and usage)
c) game being multiplayer/endless
d) game having different name[s] or aliases
e) fake speedrun entry
How many of that infos can I correct, after I get eligible for editing game information?
Sorry if I repeated question. I tried to find if anyone asked before me, but search lead me only to trace that someone asked, but can't find this post :(
Edit: Is there any way to disable that "popup" of popular games, which adds #search=1 to URL?
Or I need to find the workaround by myself and create it as UserScript for TamperMonkey?

I think this answers?

Edit: I think the "pop-up" has been discussed before and Everdred said there's no way to disable it currently. It's to assist in usability on mobile?

If a title is missing, then please submit it from the top menu bar. Please be aware that all submissions have to be approved manually by Everdred so won't show up right away (a game submission will appear on your list and so can be edited from there). For the editing of information this is relatively trivial, but for new titles this requires more work to fill in information if its not supplied. In order to make life easier for Everdred you should fill in alternate titles, release dates (for all regions please, it's very irritating when people only add one region when you can usually get all of them from wiki or Moby games etc at the same time) and other pertinent information. I personally don't add descriptions of the games for several reasons I won't bore you with. Cover art can only be added by Everdred.
Because it would be easy to overload Everdred with approvals I try to only add titles if I need them for my own lists. Or at least in small handful.
For B) It's pointless trying to change the various breakdowns for times in most cases (i.e. combining). It's impossible to create a standard, and equally pointless trying to change these per entry. Plus different people use them in different ways and even in games that you might not think they are necessary, there could easily be reasons why someone else thinks they are.
C+D) You can submit these yourself per entry on the item pages.
E) Define fake speedrun? If you mean the checkbox, well disabling it doesn't really make much sense because almost any game could be speed run in some way and it's not really worth worrying about. It can be done and in some cases might be a good idea but I wouldn't worry about doing it unless you are already making changes.

Thanks guys, that's what I needed to know. Appreciate time you given to the answers.
By fake speedrun I meant this situation: I saw one game a person claimed to beat game in 1 minute, while it was basically impossible, since it takes some time to even walk to certain plot objects (not even mentioning time needed to find them).
So far I have about 70 "cases" (mentioned in examples). I will go through them, when I finish collecting all the info - since I still keep adding my times to database, as well as playing games.
Edit: I think the "pop-up" has been discussed before and Everdred said there's no way to disable it currently. It's to assist in usability on mobile?I guess that will force me to my workaround... as well as some code for choosing few options while submitting times by default. I dislike to click it every time (choosing PC and first playthrough).
PS: Although my account has 2 years, I recently started adding my times and those are my first posts on this forum.

The duplicates fixed and October's Creature Feature added to Game of the Month.
Working to get caught up on new game adds, edits and subs at the moment.
Keep in mind this is the sites busiest time of the year due to all the sales and holidays.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Is there a way to not display games that you already have completed on the search list ?

6 Yrs♥$✓#
It's quite low in priority, but Speedruns are the red headed stepchild of this site it seems.
They aren't displayed in any search view, only on the game pages themselves
You can't search for speed runs
You can't sort search results by speed run times.
You can oddly search by number of speed runs, which seems a bit odd if the times aren't actually displayed in the results!
It does seem a bit odd that a site that records peoples playtimes doesn't handle speed runs very well despite the category. Sure I understand that most people aren't going to be doing "proper" speed runs, but then again the site doesn't really promote them. There is also defining speed runs, some games can be completed quickly but aren't really speed runs because the nature of the game usually means it's designed this way (basically any arcade released fighter) and some games have definition issues so you get a mix of arcade and story mode times under general completion. However this ignores the wide range of games where speed runs are viable completion mode where a lack of display might discourage people from submissions, or putting their speerun times in the other category (for example, visual novels where they have skipped the text)
I don't think it would need much in the way of UI changes, as the display already has space for the field to be shown on search results, just move the "add to profile" to the left and then there should be space. As it stands I have at least one game which shows no times during a search despite having a speed run time.

I haven't put much emphasis on it because there are better sites out there to use, like speedrun.com.
I want people to be able to catalog them so I've built it into the site. I also double check to make sure that submitted times are valid (By referencing speedrun.com).
One of the ways I'd like to update support is by allowing videos to be posted (doesn't need to be a speedrun). This would also help me with validation because anyone who cares about speed running is also recording their playthrough.

Did you change First Playthrough to default to yes?

This thread was created by a bot, the one who kept too sting about time sharing and being paid to be a gamer and such. I guess this is what happened to the thread since that user was the creator and Everdred probably banned the account. Or was it another user ? Can't remember...

9 Yrs♥✓#
Yeah, it was another user. Started with a 'w' I think. The timeshare guy is still around.

13 Yrs♥F✓#
Interesting, this usually doesn't happen so not sure what happened there. But yes, I have verified via the database that the thread no longer has an actual Thread entry in the database but the posts attached to it remain.

I've added [Blog] tags to the personal BackLOG journals.
I've added a sub category for it to the Gaming Section.
