Aye I made it. Just something slapdash made in about 30 mins and half of that was trying to find some robots. I was thinking you've got that Fallout inspired avatar, and there's roving bands of robots in Fallout 4, then wondered if it was possible to make a character look like that in game to fight those bots. The result was close enough.

More seriously, I've written about this before. There are just too many things to worry about and manage. Just taking that much time to create a character makes me sick. The D&D inspired stats and mechanics are annoying me. I would LOVE to see a more action oriented remake of Fallout or other games like it. I love the settings and stories in these games. But the gameplay is definitely not for me.

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it. Who knows, I might eventually add it to my 15 year long backlog, given that I play only 200-250 hours per year. ;)

I think KingM is just joking. I have played FNV (love it) and it is just as much a CRPG as the first Fallout. Maybe it's easier, but it still has all the stuff you said you dislike.

And it's fine you don't like CRPGs. I just think it's funny you hate playing CRPGs and have what is effectively a mascot for one. It'd be like my avatar being Dark Souls or Crash Bandicoot or Bayonetta.

Though I do have me some fond memories of Wrath of Cortex :)

Technically, my avatar is Mario. :P Given that he does so much exploration, he needs the gear and tools to do it properly, don't you think?

I really like this! Love getting to see more data easily like this.

However it does take some space and shoves down the length breakdown. And maybe that's more useful to the regular user of HLTB rather than reviews and retirement...?

I definitely vote for keeping it, but maybe move it down further, or hide it under some tab or dropdown view?

I just noticed new feature and came here to check.
I like it, but it takes a little bit too much space, in my opinion. There could be button in top right corner of that section to make it smaller - for example, I do not like that rating and retirement are presented with circle. 3,57% doesn't look that much. So full circle is not 100%. A bit misleading.

And the column could have tooltip saying what rating it is - or by default having those numbers below.

The retirement is based on 20% being "Max", based on very few titles having a retirement of more than that. I was trying to think of how to illustrate it but the only other way I tested was a square that fills up until 20% being a solid block. It wasn't as appealing and there is already a lot of blocky stylings on the page.

Like other said, I think it should be moved down. Also, why not go ahead and label the ratings bar 1-10? Sure most of us can count the bars and we're probably interested in the ones nearest the ends (1, 2, 3 or 8, 9, 10), but I think there's room to put the numbers anyway for accessibility.

Could you also put a way to see the exact number that rated a game a rating? I wanna see how many 1 ratings Witcher 3 has.

P.S. Unrelated, but could we get the Stats page to tell us how many DLC vs unique game completions? The Playthroughs already tells us this at the bottom. The Stats page lumps 'em both together, which isn't helpful when I wanna see at a glance how many unique games I beat for a given year.

Agree with the guy above. I'd probably label the bar plot 1-10. Other than that I think the addition is great.

Adjustments have been made, thanks everyone! It was a pain to get it to look decent at all resolutions and rating options but I'm satisfied with the final outcome.

Late to the party but would also suggest putting it below the time breakdowns, which seem like they should be the first thing below game details. Love having the graph though - it's a nice way to present that info =)
